A LETTER OF SUPPORT FOR THE ASSOSICATION OF CITIZEN “MY OWN CITY”

Dear Sirs,
Firstly, I would like to thank you on behalf of the City Municipality of New Belgrade for the
energy and effort you have generously invested in one socially useful project which proves that
the inventiveness, citizens’ initiative and, before all, solidarity with the neighbors are still a
hallmark of Belgrade, as in old times when it was more easily to express.
The Eco Oasis Block 19a, as well as the Association of Citizens “My Own City” are the example
for good care about the local community and the area which we all, as the citizens of the City of
Belgrade, share.
Refinement and development of the park area, its placing into function of the people who use it
on daily basis, really turn the everyday rush into genuine urbane eco oasis.
On this occasion I would like to express my support and wish you success in your activities, as
well to convey that the City Municipality of New Belgrade, in line with its jurisdiction and
mandate, is willing to take all necessary steps in your settlement area for solving the issue of
lacking parking lots, and enable planting of suitable vegetation.
