Cascades at The Colony, a 100-acre, 600,000 SF, master-planned
mixture of office, light industrial, retail, three (3) hotels, event
center, wedding chapel and 613 residential homes, spans 1,500
feet along the Sam Rayburn Tollway/ Highway 121 in The Colony,

Cascades Business Park consists of 10 buildings built in two phases. Phase
one consisted of buildings 1-6, a 15-acre, 200,000 SF, light industrial/ office
park that is currently 93% leased. Due to the high demand for additional
commercial space, Jackson Shaw has commenced construction on four (4)
new buildings. As part of Phase II, buildings 7-10, 14 acres, 120,000 SF., will
combine form and function to maximize business value for the user; foster a
sense of community for employees; and enhance the physical experience
and working environment.

The Fairfield Inn & Suites is a four-story, 104 guest room hotel and the four-story Residence Inn by
Marriott featuring 102 guest rooms are both situated within the 100-acre master planned
development, Cascades at The Colony. The contemporary décor transforms the guest experience
with a warm and welcoming environment; features an innovative and contemporary design that is
both flexible and functional. Developed and owned by Jackson Shaw, the Residence Inn ,along with
the adjacent Fairfield Inn & Suites, are the first hotels developed in The Colony, TX in over ten years.
A development by Walters Wedding Estates, The
Chapel at Ana Villa, is the newest addition to
Cascades at the Colony. The Grand Ballroom
accommodates over 275 guests and embodies
drama and sophistication.
Built adjoining the Fairfield Inn & Suites, the Cascades Conference Center encompasses more than
6,400 SF of meeting space in The Colony, Texas. The flexible space includes the 3,100 SF Cascades
Ballroom, two 700+ square foot additional meeting suites, a large pre-function area, as well as the
Garden Pavilion. This space can accommodate up to 358 people in various configurations.
The addition of a third hotel, along with several planned restaurants, to the already existing two
hotels, events center, and commercial space, is the next step in Jackson Shaw’s vision for Cascades.

The Legacy in Plano development was started as the headquarters for EDS in
1985. Since that time, the 2,665-acre master planned community has grown
to national prominence, featuring over 3.85 million SF of Class A / AA multitenant office space and corporate headquarters for Frito Lay, JC Penney, Dr.
Pepper / Snapple Group, Pizza Hut, Cinemark Theaters, Gearbox Software
and Rent-A-Center, along with major regional offices for AT&T, Ericsson,

In early 2015, Berkshire Hathaway will open its new flagship Nebraska
Furniture Mart located in The Colony, Texas. Only the 4th store in the NFM

Lewis W. Shaw, II
Chairman and CEO
Lewis W. Shaw, II, Chairman and CEO of ackson-Shaw
Company, graduated from Wittenberg niversity,
Springfield, Ohio, in 1966 with a BA in Liberal Arts. Mr.
Shaw served 7 years in the . S. Air orce initially as a
cryptologist and later as a T-38 instructor pilot. In
1972, Mr. Shaw joined IBM in Office roducts sales. In
1 97 4 , h e j o i n e d . C . ac k s o n C o m pa n y as a
construction manager and leasing agent. Mr. Shaw
purchased the company from the estate following
the death of Mr. ackson. The growth of the company
from a small local contractor and brokerage
operation has focused on build-to-suit and
speculative developments on a national basis. The
company has been responsible for the construction
or development of over 35 million square feet of
commercial space representing a value in excess of 2
billion dollars. The core business of the company is
centered on light office, light industrial,
office/warehouse and hospitality development.
Mr. Shaw also co-founded American eneral
ospitality, Inc. in 1980 along with operating partner
Steve orns. The company went public in 1996 and is
now part of Meristar REIT (M X) and Interstate otels
and Resorts (I R). Mr. Shaw continues his activities
with several recent hotel developments and
investments in Las Vegas, Dallas and acksonville.
In 2003, Mr. Shaw was inducted into the North Texas
Commercial Area Realtors (NCTAR) hall of fame. e serves
on the Wittenberg niversity Board of Directors and
is active in numerous local civic and national
aviation organizations.

Michele R. Wheeler is resident and Chief Operating
Officer.
oining the company in 2005, Michele is
responsible for the management and coordination of
all major financial transactions and the ongoing
operations of the company. Ms. Wheeler has been involved
in commercial real estate for over 26 years, beginning
her career in 1987 with Rosewood roperty Company.

Currently serving on the advisory boards of The Real
Estate Council and The Real Estate Council oundation, Ms.
Wheeler was the 2009 chair of TREC, the first woman to
hold that designation. She is also a member of
Commercial Real Estate Women, the American Institute of
Certified ublic Accountants, National Association of
Industrial and Office rofessionals , rban Land
Institute and the Real Estate inancial Executives
Association. She serves on the boards of the acksonShaw oundation, Boys & irls Clubs of reater Dallas
and Circle of Support.
She is a graduate of Stephen . Austin State niversity
with a BBA degree in Marketing and Management, and is a
Certified ublic Accountant. She was awarded the 2006
Outstanding Achievement Award from CREW Dallas, was
named C O of the Year by the Dallas Business ournal in
2009 and was awarded the 2012 Individual Award for
Career Advancement for Women from CREW Dallas.
ohn E. Stone is Chief inancial Officer at ackson-Shaw.
ohn is responsible for structuring, underwriting, and
financing the company s investment and development
activities. e also oversees the accounting function as
well as the company s reporting to its third party
capital relationships. Mr. Stone has been involved in
commercial real estate for 22 years and began his career
in 1991 with illwood in Dallas, Texas.
Chase albraith is Chief Development Officer for
ackson-Shaw. Chase is responsible for all areas of new
development for the company. e joined ackson-Shaw
in 1996 and has been directly responsible for the
development and financing of new speculative and
build-to-suit projects nationally in Texas, Nevada,
Arizona, California and the Washington DC area. Most
recently he oversaw master planning and development
of the $500 million, 125 acre The Brick Yard in Beltsville,
MD which includes just under 1 million square feet of
office, flex and industrial and 1,200 transit oriented
residential units on sixty acres.

ason A. Nunley has served as a Vice resident Development since shortly after joining ackson-Shaw
in 2007. In this role, ason is responsible for all aspects
of the development cycle from identifying potential
development sites, assisting with procuring financing,
site layout and design and construction to marketing
and leasing. is development experience includes both
speculative and build to suit projects for both the
private sector and the federal government focusing on
projects Texas.

e holds a BS in Construction Management from
Oklahoma State niversity and an MBA from Southern
Methodist niversity.
ason is active in The Real Estate Council, NAIO , ICSC, and
NTCAR. e currently servers on the board of directors for
the ackson-Shaw oundation and volunteers with
several other private charitable organizations.

Development
Mr. Stone received his BBA from Texas A&M niversity and
his MBA from Southern Methodist niversity. e serves on
the board of directors of the Real Estate inance
Executives Association (RE EA) and is also a member of NAIO .
ohn volunteers with several private charitable
organizations.
Tom Aylward joined the company in 2005 as Vice resident
of Development and is responsible for overseeing the
design, development and construction of projects the
company undertakes in various markets. e brings more
than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate
design and development from Stephens Aylward &
Associates, a full-service architectural firm, where he
was a principal and responsible for management of the
firm's institutional, industrial and commercial
projects. rojects under his direct supervision have
included over 10 million square feet of office and
industrial and have received such accolades as the BIA
Cornerstone Award and the NAIO Award for Excellence.
e has served the niversity of Maryland as the
resident of the Architecture Alumni Chapter and
Leader's Committee for the School of Architecture under
the past 3 Deans. Mr. Aylward serves on the board of the
ackson-Shaw oundation. e is also a member of NAIO
and serves on the Legislative Affairs Committee.
