The TOPAZ 16 comes with a choice of rig options.
The TOPAZ 16C/ CX is an accessible but high performance cat designed
for a crew of two. The Topaz 16C has a twin trapeze and boasts a powerful
14.25m2 sail area courtesy of a large Mylar main and jib. The 16CX
upgrade includes an impressive 11.18m2 gennaker.
The TOPAZ 16S ʻschoolʼ rig option offers a single trapeze with a smaller
and more easily controlled Dacron main and jib.
The 16 also features a sealed mast and a safe and simple lifting
rudder sytem as standard.

TOPAZ 14
The TOPAZ 14C/ CX is an accessible but high performance cat designed
for two medium to light crew. There is room on the trampoline for three for
cruising. The Topaz 14C has a twin trapeze and a powerful 11.50m2 sail
area courtesy of a large Dacron main and jib. The 14CX has a decent
10.00m2 gennaker to provide a more powered up downwind ride.
The TOPAZ 14XTREME is a souped up singlehanded variation.
The XTREME version has a superb fathead Mylar mainsail coupled
with a 9.90m2 asymmetric gennaker plus a trapeze to take full advantage
of the staggering amounts of available power. The 14 XTREME is a
sublime creation suited to a wide range of crew weights.

The Topaz Catamaran Range have been designed by International multihull racing legends
Yves Loday and Robert White. With such sailing experience and pedigree, not to mention
their proven design track records, it comes as little surprise that the Loday/White team have
produced such a stunning range of catamarans.
As you would expect the TOPAZ 14 and TOPAZ 16 are unashamedly fast providing
exhilarating performance. Yet these cats can also easily be handled by inexperienced crew.
The responsiveness resembles that of Olympic racing machines yet they are exceptionally
stable and forgiving.
The TOPAZ 12 is the newest and smallest catamaran in the range and is aimed at introducing
youngsters to catamaran sailing.

The Topaz cat hulls are all roto-moulded in tri-laminated Metalicene™ which is essentially indestructible and
requires virtually no maintenance. Topper's proven TOPAZ TRILAM construction method is unrivalled in the
sailing industry and is unique to the TOPAZ Range of sailing dinghies and catamarans. Through the use of
specialised construction technology and higher grade materials the Topaz TRILAM range are tougher, stiffer
and more robust than any other similar products.

TOPAZ 12
The TOPAZ 12 is the smallest catamaran in the Topper range
and is aimed at introducing youngsters to catamaran sailing
at as early an age as possible.
The Topaz 12 looks immaculate and has tremendous stability designed
into the hulls with lots of volume in the bow to give the sailors a really
confident feeling on the helm from the off.
The key to the Topaz 12 is her simplicity. Rigging is quick and easy.
The 12 is simple and lightweight enough to be operated by one child
although it is primarily designed for two crew, a child an instructor or
two children sailing together. The 12 features a manageable and
durable Dacron Radial cut Mainsail and cross-cut jib, a sealed mast
and a safe and simple lifting rudder system.
The Topaz cats are all roto-moulded in tri-laminated Metalicene™
polyethylene producing the stiffest, lightest and most dynamic hulls
available. The hulls are also extremely robust and low maintenance
making them ideal for even the toughest sailing school environments.
