Kelvingrove Bandstand Restored to its former glory, this charming open-air venue is situated in the West End of the city in the picturesque Kelvingrove Park, adjacent to the Lawn Bowls arena and close to the renowned Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. We highly recommend a visit to experience a wonderful array of events including live music, comedy, dance, film and children’s entertainment. Glasgow has some beautiful buildings and architecture, from the stunning Victorian City Chambers to the Gothic drama of Glasgow Cathedral. A must-see is the work of Glasgow born Art Nouveau Architect and Designer, Charles Rennie Mackintosh – his magical style is inspirational, from House for an Art Lover to the Willow Tearooms, there’s a Mackintosh experience for everyone. Glasgow has the best shopping in the UK outside of London, with over 1,500 shops to browse round. The city’s Style Mile, located along the interlinked Sauchiehall, Buchanan, Ingram and Argyle streets, is jam packed with malls, department stores, high street retailers and designer boutiques.
