Since its inception OHG has completed over 140 projects for variety of clients such as United States Corps of Engineering, US Embassy, USAID, the Government of Afghanistan, international company organization. HSE Policy We strives to ensure that Omran is a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible place to work for the staff, employees, laborer and the general public. We conduct operations in compliance with applicable OSHA, and local regulations, and Safety and Environment guidelines and standards. We place significant emphasis on Health and Safety. We have a Safety Management System in place with a ‘Zero Accident’ policy which engages all employees and subcontractors to actively improve HSE Performance on our project sites. In addition, we are fully committed to providing all employees with the significant training to supplement their skill set and ensure that they are capable of completing all their tasks efficiently and safely. We have +50 Health and Safety managers holding 30 Hour OSHA Certificates. We actively train managers and employees at all level and frequently provide them new training programs to supplement their skills. 43 OMRAN HOLDING GROUP Environmental Policy Omran is committed to delivering quality services to our clients while adhering to the environmental regulations and business practices. OMRAN HOLDING GROUP 5 Omran wins the USACE-AED and ABA’s Contractor Recognition Award Omran proudly accepted the 2nd Annual Contractor Recognition Award presented by the USACE and ABA on February 2012 ,26. The award recognizes excellence in the quality of the design and construction work conducted yearly by the local and international firms primarily funded by the USACE. Omran Holding Group is honored to be part of the award winning design and construction team. In 2011, the company facilitated and completed numerous projects for the USACE by designing/building medical facilities, military compounds, training ranges, electrical systems, roads, water/waste-water treatment plants, and fuel systems. Throughout the years, Omran and its partner have been able to plan, design, construct, manage, and maintain one-of-a-kind infrastructure and have all contributed to the success of the company. Awards The first award ceremony conducted by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE-North) and the Afghan Builders Association (ABA) on March 1st, 2011.The ceremony led by the ABA and the USACE included prominent guests such as Dr. Mujadadi (Governor of Kabul), Engineer Nuwandesh ( Mayor of Kabul), Colonel Thomas Magness (USACE member), Brigadier General Mark Yenter (USACE member), Colonel Michael Wehr (Director of the CSTC-A) and dozens of successful/designated companies from within Afghanistan. In 2010, out of 30 companies, OMRAN HOLDING GROUP won the "Design/Build Company of The Year" and the “Afghan Contractor of the year” awards. 6 OMRAN HOLDING GROUP Accolades [ Patricia Rehmat, COR of the [Nabil Abourialy, Resident [Major General Kendall P. Cox Commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Transatlantic Division (TAD) ] General Cox of USACE expressed his satisfaction over the quality of work produced by the partnership between Omran and USACE. The quality of construction overall is the best I have seen in Afghanistan. Especially impressive has been the project management and technical staff at the site. This group always addresses construction issues straight up and does not avoid or hide problems. This ‘will do’ attitude has instilled great confidence in the USACE staff and makes oversight of this building much easier. Safety personnel are the most conscientious of any contractor that I have worked with this year. The safe and clean site clearly improved operational efficiency. Some mention needs to be made regarding the senior management and design team at the home office who supported and allowed the site personnel to do their jobs – not a very common scenario in Afghanistan. OMRAN’s Hospital Addition-Kandahar team is at the top of the class for Facility Contractors, and they have now constructed the finest facility at Camp Hero to date”. Troop Medical Clinic and ANA Training Ranges Mazar-e-Sharif: ] “The workmanship, safety, scheduling for the TMC and Firing Range are excellent. Omran has and continues to demonstrate overall excellent performance in quality, scheduling, safety, and employee relations. The specification of the project includes installing two 20,000 USG double walled tanks with 3” flanged receipt line and 3” flanged issue piping, capable pump with variable speed on control from 100 to 350 gallons per minute, Meter Requirements, Fuel Filter Separator, Dike, Refueling Pad, Piping, Header, Retail, Pave Compound Surfaces, Concrete Bunkers, Perimeter Fencing, Gravel Roads, Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Systems etc. TMC Mazar-e- Sharif Camp Shaheen, Mazar-e- Sharif, Afghanistan Design and Construct of one Troop Medical Clinic (TMC) facility at the Afghan National Army Brigade, Camp Shaheen in Mazar-e-Sharif, Balk Province, Afghanistan. The project defines as design, material, labor, and equipment to construct the TMC, parking spaces, and connection to supporting utilities or construction of new ones to support the facility. Fuel Tank Helmand Camp, leatherneck Helmand, Afghanestan Creation & Painting of (3) Bulk Fuel Tanks, fuel distribution pipe work & painting, ancillaries and installation of associated equipment at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan. The specification of the project consists of construction, mobilization/demobilization, additional design/shop fabrication, fuel tanks, grading, civil miscellaneous civil, control, center/ admin office, generator tank, foundation sections, floating pan, electrical etc. ANA KPA Waste Water System Upgrade Kabul Police Academy, Kabul, Afghanistan The project consists of the design and reconstruction of the existing sanitary sewer system at the Kabul Police Academy (KPA). The work includes a new centralized wastewater system including new gravity sanitary sewer mains, lift stations, force mains, manholes, waste water treatment plant sludge drying beds and an effluent disposal system. Tajikistan Custom Building Nizhny Pyandzh, Tajikistan Design and Construction of a new Tajikistan Commercial Customs Facility (CCF) in support of the newly completed Afghanistan-Tajikistan Bridge. Project site is located in Nizhny Pyandzh, Tajikistan, on the Tajik side of the new Afghanistan-Tajikistan Bridge, and in an area adjacent to the (Tajik) Border Crossing Point (BCP) currently under construction. The project is defined as the design, construction, material, labor, furnishings, and equipment necessary to construct buildings, parking, roads etc. OMRAN HOLDING GROUP 17 Projects ANA Hospital Addition,Kandahar Camp Hero, Kandhar, Afghanistan The project consists of design and construction of a single-story hospital addition that has been partially constructed to an existing hospital at an ANA Regional Garrison Kandahar, Afghanistan. Additional patient care facility, along with related administrative, visiting and support capabilities enhances the ability to treat all patients within the garrison. ANA Fire Range Camp Gamberi Jalalabad, Afghanistan Design and Construction of one range complex with 8 new ranges, and related roads and support facilities for the Afghanistan National Army at Camp Gamberi Afghanistan. The project is defined as design, material, labor, and equipment to construct the building, parking observation towers, weapon breakdown and ammo distribution building, security detail office building, covered bleachers, guard shack, fencing to control and protect range support facilities, earthwork to build erosion control structures, etc. ANA Camp Scorpion Pol-e-Charki, Kabul, Afghanistan Design, Renovation, re-adaption and Construction of an upgraded garrison’s facilities for the Afghanistan National Army’s use at Pol-e-Charkhi Garrison in Afghanistan to include: Pol-e-Charkhi Garrison Headquarters; Consolidated Fielding Center (CFC); Capital Division Headquarters; Security Compound; Military Intelligence Kandak; and Division Logistics Battalion. Environmental Studies of DoRjeoil Oil Refinery Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan Green Tech, a key subsidiary of OHG, is currently undertaking the environmental assessment studies of one of the biggest oil refinery facilities in Afghanistan.
