Place flange in center of 2"x4"x6" and mark screw holes 11. Pre-drill screw holes for the flanges 12. Apply Liquid Nails liberally to the bottom of flange. You will need to apply a bead along the inner edge, and one bead in the center of flange. Remember, you want it to ooze out just a little when you tighten the screws. 13. Place flange back on 2x4x8 and screw down using four (4) 1" screws. 14. Repeat steps 10-13 on the second 2x4x6. 15. Place remaining two flanges on the 2x12 as desired and mark screw holes (Note: flanges are usually placed shoulder width apart. An extra flange placed slightly wider than shoulder width is helpful for some balances) 16. Repeat steps 11-13 with base flanges 17. Attach nipples to hand blocks to form canes (hint: a big gob of liquid nails will permanently attach hand block to nipple). 18. Attach canes to table. 19. Sand unit and paint as desired 20.
