Since its introduction in 1968, the original Ruger M77® and its descendants have been recognized as the leaders in the field of centerfire bolt action
rifles. The unique Ruger diagonal front-screw bedding system firmly anchors the receiver downward and rearward into the stock inletting.
Its one-piece bolt has proven to be one of the strongest on the market, standing up over the years to such magnum cartridges as the .375 H&H,
.416 Rigby, and .458 Lott.
Today, Ruger centerfire bolt action rifles are available in both blued and stainless steel, in right- and left-handed configurations, and in twenty-six
calibers ranging from the flat-shooting .204 Ruger at 4,225 feet per second to the powerful .458 Lott. Ruger M77 Mark II rifles are suitable for a

Since its introduction in 2002, the exciting .17 HMR cartridge has taken the shooting industry by storm.
Sturm, Ruger is proud to introduce
the next innovation in rimfire cartridges - the new 17 Mach 2™. The new .17 Mach 2 cartridge propels a 17-grain, jacketed, synthetic tipped bullet
at 2,000 feet per second – over 50% faster than a typical .22 LR cartridge. This ultimately means a flatter trajectory and superior accuracy on the
target range or for small game hunting, and it’s even quieter and more economical to shoot than the .17 HMR. Ruger 77/17® rifles chambered in
.17 Mach 2 feature 20-inch barrels, which are engineered to provide maximum muzzle velocity for this exciting new cartridge.
Sturm, Ruger offers two new rotary magazine bolt action rifles chambered for the .17 Mach 2 cartridge and three chambered for the .17 HMR
cartridge. Choices include blued with cut-checkered American walnut or synthetic stocks, or Target Grey® 77/17 Varmint models with low-glare
stainless steel components and black laminate stocks. All Ruger 77/17 rifles feature precision hammer-forged barrels and incorporate a Ruger
patented detachable rotary magazine; .17 HMR magazines hold nine rounds, while .17 Mach 2 magazines hold ten rounds. Sturm, Ruger’s patented
scope mounting system with integral scope bases and Ruger rings are included at no extra charge.
Sturm, Ruger has more .17 caliber options to choose from, including the Ruger Model 96/17™ Lever Action Rifle (see page 17),

manufacturing. Custom grades of ordnance steel

Since the first Ruger 10/22® was introduced in 1964, over 4 million have been produced - making it one of the most successful rimfire carbines
ever offered. There are many 10/22 models to choose from, including six carbines, two target models, and the latest version - the 10/22 Rifle.
The 10/22 Rifle features a slimmer stock, longer barrel (20”), flat rifle buttplate, ramp front sight, and no barrel band for a trim appearance.
It is the choice of the shooter who enjoys the feel of a quality rimfire rifle. Ruger 10/22 Carbine models feature curved buttplates, wider forends,

Lightweight and compact, the Ruger Carbine is a versatile firearm that fully accommodates the needs of sporting use, personal defense, and law
enforcement. Sturm, Ruger engineers combined 10/22 and P-Series features to create a reliable autoloading rifle that uses the same magazines and
ammunition as Ruger P-Series pistols.
The Ruger Carbine has built-in innovations including a combination firing pin block and bolt lock. The firing pin and bolt lock is deactivated
only when the trigger is pulled. In addition, a manual cross-bolt safety is located at the rear of the trigger guard. For inspection and cleaning, a slide stop
locks the slide open. 9mm Ruger Carbines are available with 15-round magazines, the same as those used in Ruger P-Series pistols.*
Sturm, Ruger has made full use of its expertise in precision manufacturing techniques and advanced synthetics to maximize the Carbine’s performance
and keep it within your budget. The Ruger Carbine features a chrome-molybdenum steel barrel, receiver, slide and music-wire recoil spring, and features
a high-impact synthetic stock with a rubber recoil pad. Integral scope mounts are part of the receiver design, and rear sights include either open or
Ghost Ring aperture sight options.

All Ruger Model 96s feature a sliding cross-button safety and the virtually indestructible, detachable Ruger rotary magazine, constructed of

The Ruger Blackhawk single action in .357 Magnum was Sturm, Ruger’s first-ever centerfire revolver and is the foundation of the legendary Ruger
single action family. Available only in 2005, the 50th Anniversary New Model Blackhawk offers a unique opportunity to own a revolver with the look

Introduced in 1953, Sturm, Ruger’s pioneering Single Six® .22 caliber revolver had the familiar look and wonderful feel and balance of traditional
“Old West” single actions. Among the New Model Single Six’s companions are the Ruger New Bearcat®, Bisley, and Old Army® models…all
combining outstanding good looks with significant mechanical refinements.
The New Bearcat fulfills the ideal of a smaller “kit gun”-style .22 caliber single action revolver, a favorite of hikers and campers. Its styling and
one-piece frame are reminiscent of the old Remington® Civil War-era revolvers. The unfluted cylinder displays a rollmark with a bear and cougar
design. The New Bearcat is available in traditional blued steel or corrosion-resistant stainless steel to meet the demands of the trail.
The Ruger Bisley is immediately recognizable by its distinctive grip style, for added shooting comfort with powerful cartridges. The hammer
and trigger are gracefully curved for the needs of the target shooter. The Ruger Bisley is chambered for popular target and hunting calibers from

A consistent winner at blackpowder matches, the Ruger Old Army .45 caliber cap-and-ball revolver is available with a choice of 5-1/2” or

Advanced, hea vy-frame re volvers for hunting and target shooting
Ruger double action revolvers are the top choice among shooters that shoot frequently for one simple reason: reliability. Both Redhawk® and Super
Redhawk® designs emphasize extra metal in the top strap and in the critical areas surrounding the barrel threads. With no side-plate, both sidewalls
serve as integral parts of the frame for maximum strength and rigidity. Sturm, Ruger also patented a mechanism to lock the cylinder into the frame
at the front, rear, and bottom of the cylinder for positive alignment and increased strength. More than just big revolvers, these are strong revolvers
designed to handle the stresses imposed by powerful handgun calibers.
Super Redhawk revolvers feature a six-shot cylinder capacity, making them the ideal choice when using a revolver to hunt large or dangerous
game. These potent revolvers are also popular among metallic silhouette shooters. Super Redhawk models feature an extended frame, longer barrel
threads, cushioned grips, and a number of improved mechanical features. The Super Redhawk is available in .44 Magnum, .480 Ruger and
.454 Casull and incorporates integral scope mounts and free Ruger scope rings (except Alaskan models). The .480 Ruger cartridge offers approximately
one-third more energy than the powerful .44 Magnum with less recoil than the powerful .454 Casull. Models chambered in .454 Casull also offer
the choice of shooting lower-recoiling .45 Colt cartridges for more enjoyable practice sessions.
The New Ruger Super Redhawk AlaskanTM is the only compact big bore magnum revolver that provides the confidence of a six-shot cylinder in a
size and weight that is practical enough to conveniently carry afield. The Super Redhawk Alaskan is chambered for six rounds of either the mighty
.454 Casull and .45 Colt, or the powerful .480 Ruger, and is equipped with a Hogue® Monogrip® to help cushion recoil. The Alaskan features a
2 1/2” hammer-forged barrel fitted inside the extended frame and weighs only 42 ounces, making it the most compact revolver ever offered in
these calibers. The stainless steel Alaskan features the famous Ruger triple locking cylinder mechanism, which provides legendary reliability and
strength. The Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan provides the confidence necessary when trekking into dangerous game territory.

Ruger GP100® mid-frame double action revolvers and their smaller-framed counterparts, the SP101® series, offer an array of sophisticated
design features that make less innovative revolvers obsolete.
Strength, simplicity, and ease of maintenance are keys to their design. The cylinder is triple-locked by latches at the rear and bottom of the
cylinder, and at the front of the crane by a locking bar that engages a matching slot in the frame. Frame widths are increased in critical areas
that support the barrel; both sidewalls are solid, integral sections of the frame, with no removable side-plates to compromise the frame’s
integrity. While some may say that Ruger double action revolvers are over-built, we say that only the best revolvers get to bear the
Ruger name. Ruger revolvers are built to perform reliably, shot after shot.
Because these revolvers consist of a group of integrated subassemblies, takedown for cleaning is quick and simple, requiring no special tools.
The grip portion of the frame is a post onto which standard or custom grips in a variety of sizes, shapes and materials can be fitted. GP100
and SP101 revolvers feature unique cushioned grips to provide comfort, with no exposed metal to impact the shooter’s hand during recoil.
All Ruger double action revolvers incorporate a
patented Ruger triple-locking mechanism that
securely locks the cylinder into the frame at
front, rear and bottom.

Sturm, Ruger offers safes to help our customers meet their
responsibility to store Ruger firearms safely. Our standard safe
offers 23 cubic feet capacity and easily stores 12 long guns, with
shelf space for handguns and accessories. It weighs 580 pounds
and is 30" wide, 60 1/2" tall, and 22" deep. Standard features
include: 3/4" thick composite door plate; Sargent & Greenleaf
lock; internal ball bearing hinges; recessed doors to inhibit prying;
active door bolts to prevent frame damage; embedded diamond
plate protection to help prevent the lock from being drilled out;
twelve one-inch diameter chrome plated bolts; Teflon bolt guides
to reduce door/bolt abrasion, rusting and squeaking; relockers to
deadlock the boltworks if the safe is attacked by torching,
drilling or attempted forced entry; and Class I fire protection
shell providing a fire rating of 1250° F for 45 minutes. Finished in a durable, textured
jade black finish with accenting stripe and Sturm, Ruger logo. This gun safe is a

The patented Ruger Conversion Kit is an entirely new operating system for these revolvers.
It can help prevent accidental discharges caused by a drop or blow to the hammer if the
user has failed to take the basic safety precaution of keeping the hammer down on an
empty chamber. That’s very important!
This mechanism can be factory-installed without any further alteration. The frame and
other major parts will not be affected by this conversion. The value of the gun will not be
impaired, and we will return your original parts for collector’s purposes.
