Yeshivas Ohr Avraham was
founded in 2002 with the
endorsement of Gedolei Torah,
and with the emphatic
encouragement of leaders in the
field of education and outreach.
The Yeshiva’s faculty is
comprised of individuals with
decades of experience in
education and outreach, graduates
of some of the major Torah
institutions, and Rabbis whose
dedication to the Jewish people
act as an inspiration to their
students. Our staff members take
the time and effort to focus on
each student individually, helping
him to maximize his ability and
fulfill his potential, whether this be
in the workplace, in the community
as a teacher or a Rav, or at home
as a husband and father.

The Yeshiva’s educational program was
designed and is run by some of Israel’s

Torah educators. It takes into account
each student’s unique needs, talents and
capabilities, and tailors the program
accordingly. In our short history, many of
our students have already graduated to
some of Israel’s top Yeshivos, where they

TORAH LIFE SKILLS
A major emphasis of the Yeshiva is on
developing mature, balanced and
integrated individuals. Our regular
mussar sessions on building and
improving character traits are wellreceived by students, as are the noted
guest speakers invited by the yeshiva to
reinforce the topic. Much effort is
invested in preparing the students for
marriage, with the goal of creating
healthy and fully functional relationships,
as this is undoubtedly the key to the
future of the Jewish people. Many hours
of pre-marital counseling and guidance
are conducted with every student
before marriage, and the essential
support, encouragement, assistance and
direction needed to make a marriage
flourish are continuously provided.
After marriage, our students remain
a part of the Ohr Avraham family,
whether they choose to remain in our
rapidly expanding kollel or use the
skills they have garnered to pursue a
suitable means of parnassa outside
