• On 8 November 2004, a "Licence and Co-operation Agreement" was signed by
Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (Vinashin) and MAN B&W Diesel
A/S, Denmark.
• The new agreement,
agreement signed by Vinashin Chairman & C.E.O.
C E O Mr Pham Thanh
Binh and MAN B&W Executive Vice President Dr Peter Sunn Pedersen, will
provide Vinashin with technology and support for the production of MAN B&W
two-stroke diesel engines for the growing Vietnamese shipbuilding industry.
• VINASHIN and Aalborg Industries of Denmark have established a joint
venture to manufacture ship boilers in the An Hong Shipbuilding Industrial
Park in northern Hai Phong port city.

in 2002 to manufacture and trade in high quality welding material to
European and American standards.

Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (VINASHIN) of Vietnam (30%). The
company is doing ship repair, conversion and shipbuilding business in
Khanh Hoa Province, Vietnam, on 100 ha of land
