Vienna sees itself not only as a city of culture but also a
metropolis of science and research. The city draws upon
a long and rich tradition of creative thoughts, a spirit of
scientific inquiry and entrepreneurial innovation
(Vienna looks to the future, 2007). Nevertheless,
research of city departments and science
