Welcome to the Grand Strand Bike Week 2012! We are so glad that you are here.
The weather is awesome and with gas prices so high, the bike is looking better
every day. That's a great thing! So, get out and ride. $20 to fill a Harley!
I want to thank Beaver Bar for the awesome cover. That's a great T-shirt, too. Take
some home for souvenirs. Next, I want to thank Suck Bang Blow for the Centerfold;
and Joye Napier and Risher lawfirm for the back cover. Hope you don't need them, but
if you do, get the best!
With that, lots of stuff to do, so let's get started! Spokes & Bones has Rick Derringer on the 18th. And lots of
vendors, and some nice shady spots in the middle of all the Bike Week Events. Also HHI. Get some real cool wheels,
handlebars, and brakes for your ride.
Next, Full Throttle Saloon comes to Myrtle Beach at the House of Blues. Meet the cast and crew of the Full Throttle
Saloon Show, and Jackyl on Saturday night for the grand finale. Also, bands all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday
on the deck.
Suck, Bang Blow – bands, bands, bands, contests, burnouts and wet t-shirt contests all day long. What more
can you ask for?!
Onward – Beaver Nation! At the Beaver Bars - Little, County and Junction. Rebel Son will be there – you've got to
see. Special Bike Show on the 19th with the IMBB guys. Don't miss it.
Next – tattoos. Go to Pitbull Tattoos voted best tattoo shop in Myrtle Beach four years in a row. Clean, sterile, and
the artists do awesome work. Stay out of tents, trailers and kitchens. You have to wear it – not them.
Now, if you have the need for speed, see Chris at his new location at Spokes & Bones. Cycle Solutions will make
that bike sing - and go real fast, too! Yeah, Baby! And for you who are looking for a new bike, see Tim at Coastal
Victory. Maybe you'll take one home with you.
Now – my favorite subject....FOOD! Texas Roadhouse has lots of stuff planned for you this Bike Week annnnnnddddd
– the BEST ribs on the inlet. They are having karaoke and Harley HOG is having a special event on the 21st. Make
sure you stop by and visit.
I want to thank the folks at Sleep Inn for making my stay in Myrtle Beach a comfortable one. A million thanks to
you guys – Todd, Matt, Chad and Kevin! And Traci, too!
Legends has a new location by Broadway at the Beach. They look like the real stars, and they sound like the real
stars – don't miss the show.
Now to say thanks to Linda for your magic fingers, Thunder for your maps, Mike for putting it together, Doug and
Carol for helping us out in this moment of crisis (LOL). Without you, we would have been up the creek without
a paddle! And to Frank, Jane and Hank – you guys put me together and get me out on time. Thanks a million.
