Geoff and Jackie Balmforth are the proud owners of the Belair Park Country Club. Their passion is to
create the most spectacular venue for weddings.
Geoff is a former International Head Chef and Jackie is a highly experienced Function Manager. Both are
driven by their vision and passion to make sure your every visit to the Belair Park Country Club exceeds
your wildest expectations. Through this vision they have worked hard to build the utmost professional
Events Team to make it a reality.
Belair Park Country Club is the ultimate setting for your Adelaide Hills Wedding Reception and Ceremony.
Set amid the lush fairways of the Golf Course and the tranquil backdrop of the National Park, the Belair
Park Country Club is a venue combining romance with spectacular surroundings.
An all in one Wedding Venue, and only 15 minutes from the CBD, we boast many options for your onsite
location for your ceremony. Our purpose built Gazebo features a stunning backdrop of the 1st and 18th
tee with the amazing backdrop of the Belair National Park.
Our beautifully decorated function rooms cater from small and intimate weddings to large celebrations
for up to 200 guests, again all with spectacular views of the fairway and National Park.
Spectacular photo opportunities at your fingertips, ample free parking and with the Family Park next
door, it provides suitable accommodation for your travelling guests.

Function Rooms
The Panorama Room allows you exclusive
use of our first floor function area, including the
Cocktail Lounge for your pre-dinner drinks.
Enjoy the panoramic views of the National Park
and Golf Course.
The Garden Room is aptly named for its
location amid the Country Clubs fern garden.
Offering views across the Golf Course, the Garden
Room is a stunning location for your wedding
reception.

On a Saturday evening in the peak months, a minimum number of 100 adults apply for the Panorama
Room and 60 adults for the Garden Room.
For a more intimate wedding reception, the Panorama Room can be separated into two function rooms,
the Fairway View Room and the Parkview Room. Use of the Fairway View Room and the Parkview Room
are not available on a Saturday evening except in the months of June, July, August and September.

The Parkview Room boasts two private
balconies offering views across the treetops of the
Belair National Park. It is an ideal room for smaller wedding receptions
whilst still offering a purpose built dance floor.

General Information
Ceremony: Wedding ceremonies can be held on the premises complimentary. We have packages available
to bride and grooms for their ceremony set up. Please see page five for package options and prices. Please
speak our Wedding Planner for further details.
A time for your ceremony must be confirmed with Belair Park Country Club on confirmation of tentative
booking to ensure that such time is available. All bookings must be made with Belair Park Country Club on
8278 8991.
Confetti, Streamers, Rice, Scatters and Rose Petals: Under the National Parks and Wildlife Act, confetti or
streamers are not allowed either inside or outside the premises. Anything found discarded outside the
premises will be subject to a fine imposed by the Department of Parks and Wildlife. Confetti, rice and/or
scatters used inside the building will incur a cleaning charge of $150.00. Rose petals are allowed only if freeze
dried professionally. Please speak with your Wedding Planner for further details.
Wedding Cake: Your cake may be brought in on the day of or the day prior to your reception. A silver cake
knife is available for your use. Boxing and bagging of the wedding cake will incur a fee of $0.50c per person.
Please provide your own cake bags or cake boxes for this purpose.
Wedding cake can be cut and served unwrapped on platters per table or by the tea and coffee buffet at no
extra cost.
If you wish to use your wedding cake as a dessert option, a $2.00 deduction is applicable to your package
price. This is not included in menu options 1 & 2.
Catering: The Belair Park Country Club retains the right to provide all catering on the premises. No food or
beverage may be brought onto the premises unless agreed with management. Food and beverage may not be
taken from the premises, with the exception of the Wedding Cake.
Beverages: If you choose not to have a beverage package then a minimum spend is required: $30.00 per
person for a lunchtime wedding and $30.00 per person for a dinner time Wedding for pre paid Bar Tabs. Belair
Park Country Club does not provide services for Drinks on Consumption [cash bar].
Bomboniere/ Table Set Up: Bomboniere and all other additional table decorations must be delivered or
brought at least one day prior to your function. Our venue staff will set up tables as required on your behalf
– if the room is free the day before your wedding, and the tables are already set and in place, we will ask you
to put out your name tags and bomboniere. Number of guests per table needs to be forwarded to us no later
than one week prior.
Disabled Guests: Our facilities cater for disabled guests on both ground and first floor level. Access to the
upper level is via the ramp, which is situated at the rear of the building. A wheelchair is available if required.
Parking: The Belair Park Country Club has ample free parking for your guests’ cars.
Smoking: For the comfort of all guests, Belair Park Country Club is a non-smoking venue. Designated areas for
smokers are available.
Hire: Data projectors and screens are available on request. If using personal iPods or CD players the Belair Park
Country Club does not have speakers available to hire. The bride and groom are required to source speakers
from outside companies.

Terms and Conditions
Bookings: Tentative bookings will be held for a period of
fourteen days only. Please contact Belair Park Country
Club on 8278 8991 within this time to advise us of your
decision. The Belair Park Country Club reserves the right
to release all tentative bookings after the fourteen-day
period without notification.
To confirm your booking, a non-refundable and nontransferable deposit of $2000.00 – Panorama Room and
$1500.00 - Garden Room is required. This fee will be
deducted from the final balance of your account. The
Terms and Conditions form must also be signed and
accompany payment of deposit.
Payment, Final Numbers & Catering: Final numbers of
guests attending are to be confirmed fourteen (14) days
prior to your Wedding and are accepted as the final
numbers for catering and charging purposes. Payment in
full is required eight (8) days prior. Methods of payment
include cash, Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), cheque,
Visa, MasterCard (1.5%), American Express (2.2%) or Bank
Card. Payment by credit card will incur a Merchant Fee.
Belair Park Country Club does not accept Diners Club
credit cards.
GST: All quotations in these terms are inclusive of GST.
Cancellations:
In the event of the cancellation of a booking the following
conditions apply:
If the booking is cancelled within two (2) weeks from the
date of deposit payment, the deposit will be refunded to
the client less a $300 administration fee.
If the booking is cancelled more than three (3) months
from the date of the function, Belair Park Country Club
shall retain the full amount of the deposit; all deposits are
non refundable
If the booking is cancelled within three (3) months from
the date of the function, Belair Park Country Club shall
retain the full amount of the deposit and the Client is
liable to pay thirty percent (30%) of the total cost of the
function based on tentative booking approx numbers at
time of booking.
If the booking is cancelled within 10 days from the date
of the function Belair Park Country Club will claim full
payment for the function.
Pricing: Prices are fixed until 31st December 2017; we
have the right to increase the price if any unforeseen
economic conditions occur.
Sundays and Public Holidays: A wedding held on a
Sunday & Public Holidays will attract a surcharge. It is
advisable to check with Belair Park Country Club for the
cost involved.
Minimum Numbers: The minimum number of guests for a
Saturday evening Wedding Reception in our Panorama
Function Room is 100 adult guests (unless otherwise
approved by management) for all months excluding
June, July, August and September (Winter Wedding
Season). The Garden Room requires a minimum of 60
adult guests excluding June, July, August and September.
Wedding Planner will recommend rooms suitable for your
numbers. Costs will be based on the minimum number
for the function room booked.
Please note certain packages within the wedding
package also have minimum numbers; please check with
your wedding planner what package you are on.
Smoking: As per Government regulation.
Time: Time allowed for an evening reception is five (5)
hours from the commencement of pre-dinner drinks, or
four (4) hours for a Cocktail Party. Lunchtime wedding
receptions have duration of four and a half hours (4.5).
Additional time can be negotiated at $150 per half
an hour, plus beverages. Prior notice and payment
is required if a client wishes to extend their function.
Commencement and conclusion timings will be discussed
with each bride and groom during a final arrangements
meeting. The Venue reserves the right to seek up-front
payment of any extension to an open bar account made
on the night.
Property Damage: The Hirer/Organiser or their agent is
financially responsible for you and shall indemnify the
Venue with respect to any damage to property incurred
during the function. The Hirer/Organiser or their agent is
responsible for the actions of their guests.
Disclaimer: The Belair Park Country Club will not accept
responsibility for and you shall indemnify the Venue with
respect to damage or loss of goods or belongings left in
the Venue prior to, during or after an event. You agree
that the Venue shall not be liable for any indirect, special
or consequential loss resulting from or caused in any way
by the provision of our services.
Unforeseen Circumstances: In the case of electrical or
gas outage the function can usually continue. The Venue
shall not be liable for any changes to the function as a
result of such outage. If the Venue is unable to provide
the facilities (or part of them) due to circumstances
beyond their control, the Venue reserves the right to
cancel or vary the function facilities or (where agreed)
the date. The Venue shall not be held liable for any costs,
damages or otherwise as a consequence and you shall
indemnify the Venue in that regard.
Adverse Conditions: In the case of adverse conditions
(e.g. hot weather or rain) the Venue may relocate the
ceremony. Any relocation decision will be made by the
Venue on the day of the ceremony.
Menu Tasting: Menu tasting are held on Sunday
Lunchtime. Bookings are required. Charges for the menu
tasting will be advised on booking.
Vouchers: It is the bride and groom’s responsibility to
organise the Services of any vouchers that are issued
within certain wedding packages. Early bookings of
Services are essential, as number of weddings is limited.
There are no minimum numbers for lunchtime, mid-week
or Sunday Wedding Reception. Please note that your
