Cut 3 lengths of scoubidou Introduction Making Scoubidou Bracelets is a great hobby that you can do almost anytime and anywhere. With a little practice you can make all sorts of designs to wear yourself or share with your friends. We start with the basic knotting principles and with each new project you learn a different design or technique. By the time you have finished this kit you should have the knowledge and skills to make up to eight colourful, vibrant bracelets. This plait is created in the same Twisted Bracelet way as the double plait but instead of holding two strings, hold three strings at a time. 1. Cut two lengths of scoubidou 6. Switch colours and forward knot again. 4 Your triple plait Scoubidou Bracelet is now complete! Project 3: Variation Variations to Try: 1. Try making a bracelet using 3 or 4 colours to create a rainbow effect. 2. Try 5 knots with one colour, then 5 knots with the next colour for a funky look! 4. Knot this piece of string around the core of your bracelet. Make sure that you knot it where the join is so that you have black string coming out one side and orange string coming out the other side. 5 Project 5: 5. Hold the two long strings in one hand 6. Turn the bracelet over and tie the strings in a double knot. This will ensure the knots sit on the back of the bracelet. Trim off any excess strings.
