The inventory, scanning, OCR and metadata applications to the estimated 32,032 pages

outsourced to University of Montana Maureen and Mike Mansfield Library.
The project was completed in June 2011 and Fort Peck Tribal Library provided a
Terabyte external hard drive to hold all the digital images and metadata.
Wotanin Wowapi back files
The paper copies of the Wotanin Wowapi were delivered to the Mansfield Library in
October 2009. There were 18 boxes of newspapers.
This project has made the tribal newspaper and local Poplar papers
available to anyone who has Internet access anywhere in the world.
Fort Peck Tribal Library has presented information about this project at
several national conferences and information about Montana Memory
Project was well received with interest and questions about how it could
done elsewhere
