Transport Group is a non-profit, off-Broadway theatre
company in New York City that stages new works and
re-imagines revivals by American writers. Our visually
progressive productions of emotionally classic stories
explore the challenges of relationships and identity in
modern America. In 2007 Transport Group received a
Drama Desk Award recognizing our “breadth of vision
and presentation of challenging productions,” as well as
a Village Voice OBIE award for excellence in the

ALEXANDER AGUILAR (Uardo) is very excited to make his NYC debut
in Lysistrata Jones! Past regional credits include Mike in A Chorus
Line at The Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire and the ensemble of
Annie Get Your Gun starring Patti Lupone at Ravinia Festival. A
recent graduate of CCM, he can also be seen in the hit film Were
the World Mine. Alex would like to thank his friends, family, and
Nicolosi and Co for all of their support.
ATO BLANKSON-WOOD (Tyllus, 6/15-6/24) is so grateful to be a part

LINDSAY NICOLE CHAMBERS (Robin) is excited to be back in the role
she originated in Lysistrata Jones at the Dallas Theatre Center! She

MAX KUMANGAI (Tyllus, 5/15-6/12) is ebullient to be working with the
Transport Group. Max was last seen in Where’s Charley at NY City
Center Encores! Max received a BFA in Musical Theatre from the
University of Michigan. Off-Bway: Bells are Ringing (Encores!),
Anyone Can Whistle (Encores!), What’s That Smell (NWS). Regional
Theatres include: The Marriott Lincolnshire, The Muny, Music Theatre
of Wichita, Geva Theatre, and Lyric Theatre of OK. Special thanks to
U of M, his family and friends in Spokane, Washington and everyone

LIZ MIKEL (Heterai) is elated to be taking this journey with Dan,
Doug and Lewis again. She previously played the role of Heteria in
the world premiere of Give It Up!, at the Dallas Theater Center,
where she is a Resident Acting Company member. She has been
a staple in Dallas' theater and music scenes for the past 20 years.
In addition to performing locally and regionally, Ms. Mikel has
toured both nationally and internationally to rave reviews. New
York performances include: Blind Lemon Blues at Summer Stage
and Eve Ensler's OPC at The Daryl Roth Theatre. As a vocalist, she
has opened for Erykah Badu, Branford Marsalis, Issac Hayes,
Gennifer Flowers and Joan Rivers. Ms. Mikel played Corinna
Williams for 3 seasons on NBC’s “Friday Night Lights” and Maggie,
Ty's landlady on LOGO's, “Sordid Lives The Series.” Liz was Ruthie
Jenkins in the blockbuster comedy, Welcome Home Roscoe
Jenkins and will be appearing in the WWE movie, Bending The
Rules, being released later this year.
PATTI MURIN (Lysistrata Jones) Patti is absolutely thrilled to step
back into the cheerleading uniform after originating this role at
the Dallas Theatre Center last year! She just returned from playing
the title role in Emma at the Old Globe Theatre, written by Paul
Gordon. Favorite credits include Xanadu on Broadway
(Euterpe/Kira u/s), Waverly in Next Thing You Know by Salzman
and Cunningham (Berkshire Theatre Festival), Nicole in Band
Geeks! (Goodspeed Opera House), Belle in Beauty and the Beast
(Atlanta TOTS), every production of David Zippel's Princesses
(Goodspeed, 5th Avenue Theatre), Samantha in The Unauthorized
Autobiography of Samantha Brown (OCPAC), and originating the
role of Sharpay Evans in the premiere professional production of
Disney's High School Musical (Atlanta TOTS, Dir. Jeff Calhoun).
Other than appearing on two episodes of “All My Children,” Patti
has not been on TV, but she really likes to watch it. Patti holds a
BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University. This one is for
Curtis, the best cheerleader a girl could ever have.
KAT NEJAT (Cleonice) Just finished the Broadway revival of West
Side Story (Fernanda) where she understudied and performed the
roles of Maria and Anita many times! National Tours: Disney’s High
School Musical, Joseph…, and the 50th Anniversary Tour of West
Side Story (Maria u/s). Regional: Paper Mill Playhouse, 5th Avenue
Theatre, Theatre of the Stars, Fulton Opera House, Theatre Under
the Stars. Favorite TV: “Law & Order: SVU,” “One Life to Live,”
“Dancing with the Stars,” “Sondheim: The Birthday Concert,” “PBS
Great Performances: Dance in America,” “The Tony Awards,” QVC
On-Air Spokesperson, and back-up vocalist for “Britain’s Got Talent”
winner Paul Potts on “The TODAY Show”. Thrilled for her Transport
Group debut but even happier to be a newlywed! For B+G.
JOSH SEGARRA (Mick) is thrilled to be working on his first production
with the Transport group. Getting to put two of his loves on one
stage, theatre and basketball, has always been a dream and now
it’s finally coming to life. He can currently be seen every day on
PBS’s “The Electric Company” as fun-loving Hector Ruiz. He’d like to
thank his family, his dear, dear friends, and his team for putting up
with his ups and downs but most importantly for reminding him this is
what he’s made to do, so never give up. “Some people succeed
because they are destined to, while others succeed because they
are determined to”. God Bless. TV credits: “The Electric Company,”
“Homeland,” “Vampire Bats.” Film: The Music Never Stopped, The

LAQUET SHARNELL (Mhyrinne) From Dallas, TX and is a proud
graduate of Booker T. Washington HSPVA. In addition to the arts HS
she also was a company member at The Dallas Powerhouse of
Dance and The Centre for Dance. She was the honorary numerous
awards from NYC Dance Alliance, Jacobs Pilliow Dance Fesitval,
Broadway Theatre Project, and the National Foundation for the Arts.
Upon graduation from the Arts HS she went to train at the North
Carolina School of the Arts as a contemporary dance major. Since
her move from NC to NYC she’s been seen in: Broadway/National
Tour: Memphis The Musical, The Lion King, Sweet Charity (Helene U/S
perf), Regional: Bring It On The Musical (Featured), Candide (NYC

ALEX WYSE (Cinesius) Alex makes his Off-Broadway debut with
Lysistrata Jones! Favorite credits include Academy at the Daegu
International Musical Festival in South Korea and at The Maltz
Jupiter Theatre; Lost in Yonkers at The Paper Mill Playhouse, The
Cleveland Play House, and The Maltz Jupiter Theatre; Mrs. Sharp
at Playwrights Horizons; Speech & Debate at The Lyric Stage
Company of Boston; and a recurring role on HBO’s Bored to
Death. Also a composer and lyricist, Alex’s work was seen in NYMF

ALAN STEVENS HEWITT (Bass) I’m psyched to be a part of the

BITI STRAUCHN (Vocals/Percussionist) Biti was Born and raised in
NYC, and has recorded and/or toured with: Tears For Fears, Billy
Joel, Justin Timberlake, Al Green, Oleta Adams, Leona Lewis,
Joshua Radin, Debra Harry, Cyndi Lauper, Jennifer Holliday,
Michael Bolton, Eric Gadd, Diana Ross, Martha Wash, John
Waters, Mic Murphy, Lil Louis Vega, Me'shell N'degeocello, Caron
Wheeler and Soul II Soul, Marlon Saunders and Mood Control, Kelli
Sae and Count Basic, Katreese Barnes' "Rocket Man" and as the
featured singer of Degrees Of Motion, garnering a top 10 pop hit
in the UK and a top 10 dance hit in the US. She has also appeared
in Sandra Berhardt's off Broadway play "Without You I am Nothing",
Robert Wilson's Medea', as a singer and featured dancer, Square
One TV and was a featured Producer at the Music Dept. with Lewis
Flinn. She has written and performed songs for daytime soap operas
"All my Children", and "One Life To Live", and has been featured on
numerous commercial jingles including Sprite's "Obey Your thirst",
'Colgate', 'Old Spice', 'Promise Margerine', 'Macy's',' Huggies', ‘AT&T',
and 'Nutrament' and sang the theme song for the DJ Kat show on
Fox TV for 2 seasons. She has appeared on “The David Letterman
Show”, “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”, “The Rosie O'Donnell
Show”, “The Arsenio Hall Show”, “Soul Train”, B.E.T., M.T.V., “The Jon
Stewart Show”, “Saturday Night Live”, “Conan O'Brien” and “New
York Undercover”. Biti feels incredibly blessed and thankful.
Playwright's Horizons, Drama Dept., Lincoln Center Theatre, The
Vineyard Theater, Geffen Playhouse (LA), Hartford Stage,
Cleveland Play House, Old Glode, Primary Stages, adobe theatre
co, and The Acting Company. In addition, he has been a guest
artist at Cornell, Dartmouth, and Princeton University. In the world
of TV and film, he recently wrote the themes and music for "The
Power of 10" with Drew Carey for CBS/Sony and "Million Dollar
Password" with Regis Philbin, also for CBS. His numerous
commercial scores include campaigns for Microsoft, Life Cereal,
SAAB, and the AFL-CIO. A longtime collaborator with fashion
designer Zang Toi, he has composed and performed runway
music for over 14 collections. He was lead singer and songwriter
for the 90's jazz/rock band Acoustic Blue.

LEWIS FLINN (Music, Lyrics & Orchestrations) Musical projects
include Lysistrata Jones (with Douglas Carter Beane), On Girl, with
book and lyrics by Steven Sater; Like Love, with book/lyrics by Barry
Kaplan (NYMF 2007); The Winner, with Joe Sutton (the Lyric Stage,

JESSICA HARTMAN (Associate Choreographer) choreography

KRISTEN ROSENFELD(Assistant to the Musical Director) is thrilled to
be working on this production. She spent two years on tour with
the First National Tour of the Broadway musical Spring Awakening,
first as Associate and then as Conductor. New York music
directing credits include NYMF, Prospect Theatre, PS122, Family
Opera Initiative and readings at The York and The Dramatists
Guild. Regionally, Kristen has music directed at the Barn Theatre in
Michigan, Cortland Repertory, SecondStory Repertory and many
others. In addition to her work as a music director, Kristen is a
composer and her works have been commissioned by theatres
such as the Atlantic Acting School, the Red Fern Theatre
Company and Wooden O Theatre in Seattle. Her one-act musical
The Nightingale was premiered at Sprouts! Children's Theatre in
2005 and she is currently collaborating with her mother on a new

JAN ROSENBERG (Production Assistant) Jan is elated to be working
on such a fantastic show! She most recently served as a
productions assistant for Ghosts in the Cottonwoods (The
Amoralists). This past summer she was a part of the LAByrinth
Theater Intensive Ensemble. Her play TACT had its first public
reading with The SANDrep Theater. She will be graduating from
The New School in the fall with a BA in Playwriting and Fiction.
LIAM NELLIGAN (Spot Operator) is a B.F.A candidate at NYU's Tisch
School for the Arts. At NYU Liam studied acting at the Atlantic
Theater Company, training extensively under Kristen Johnston,
Mary McCann, and Niel Pepe. When not acting on stage, Liam
has worked behind the scenes on such shows as Colin Quinn:
Long Story Short (house manager) Puppetry of the Penis (house
manager/run crew) Sleep No More (carpenter) and Perfect
Harmony (carpenter) to name a few. Liam is a founding member
of Pipeline Theatre Co. for whom he has also designed sound on
two of their NYC productions, Love and the Nightingale and Fat

LAUREN SCOTTOW (Audience Services Manager) This is Lauren's
third production with Transport Group. She spent the past two
summers doing company management at the Williamstown
Theatre Festival, and also spent a year working for the Asolo
Repertory Theatre in Sarasota, Florida. She graduated from Butler
University with a degree in Theatre Management.
JACK CUMMINGS III (TG Artistic Director) is the co-founder and
Artistic Director of Transport Group. For Transport Group, he has
directed Our Town, Requiem for William, First Lady Suite (Drama
Desk nomination for Outstanding Revival), The Audience (Drama
Desk nominations for Outstanding Director and Outstanding
Musical), Normal, cul-de-sac, All The Way Home, The Dark at the
Top of the Stairs, Crossing Brooklyn, Marcy in the Galaxy, Being
Audrey, See Rock City & Other Destinations (Drama Desk
nominations for Outstanding Director and Outstanding Musical),
Mart Crowley’s The Boys in the Band (Drama Desk nominations for
Outstanding Director and Outstanding Revival of a Play) and
Hello Again (Drama Desk nominations for Outstanding Director
and Outstanding Revival of a Musical). Other favorite New York
credits include Down The Road (Piccolo-Sood Productions) and
1,000 Words Come to Mind (Premieres, Inc.). Regional credits
include Violet, Carousel, The Young Man From Atlanta, She Loves
Me, The Illusion, and A Streetcar Named Desire (starring his wife,
Barbara Walsh, as Blanche). For television, he directed the
Broadway musical A Tale of Two Cities, broadcast on PBS starring
Michael York and James Barbour. Jack received his MFA in
Directing from the University of Virginia and his Bachelor of Arts in
International Relations from The College of William and Mary.
LORI FINEMAN (TG Executive Director) Prior to Transport Group Lori
worked in management consulting for Andersen Consulting and
Capco, a financial services consulting firm where she was the
Global Director of Knowledge Management. As a producer, Lori
was a founding member of a New York-based theatre company,
Muse of Fire Productions, and the Executive Director of the
Philadelphia-based National Women’s Theatre Festival. Lori has
worked professionally as an actor, choreographer, and yoga
instructor. Lori is also the President of the board of directors of the
Jewish Community Project in Tribeca. A graduate of the University of
Pennsylvania, Lori holds a BA in English & Theatre Arts and a BSE
from the Wharton School in Management. Lori’s favorite roles: mom
to Dylan, Spencer, and Nathan and wife to Steve.
KRISTINA CORCORAN WILLIAMS (TG Dramaturg/Literary Manager) is
the resident Dramaturg and Literary Manager for Transport Group.
Recent dramaturgy credits include TG's Hello Again and Boys in
the Band and she is currently working on TG's upcoming project with
David Greenspan. Other recent credits include the world premieres
of Boleros for the Disenchanted and The Unmentionables at Yale
Repertory Theatre where she also served as Literary Associate. She
has worked with playwrights Paula Vogel (Pulitzer Prize winner),
Bruce Norris(Pulitzer Prize winner), Jose Rivera (Academy Award
nominee) Lloyd Suh, and directors Anna Shapiro (Tony award
winner), Henry Godinez and Kent Thompson. She has worked in New
York with the LARK Play Development Center, Dixon Place, TCG and
Primary Stages and regionally with the Denver Center Theatre's New
Play Summit, and Madison Repertory Theatre's Fall Festival of the
Future (world premiere of Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice). She has served on
the summer theatre faculty at Interlochen Center for the Arts and
holds an MFA in Dramaturgy from the Yale School of Drama.
MICHELLE ELLIS (TG Manager of Marketing & Development) has
been a member of the Transport Group team for Bury the Dead,
Being Audrey, The Boys in the Band, See Rock City & Other
Destinations (Managing Producer) and Hello Again (Managing
Producer). Michelle has also worked administratively with The
American Theatre Wing’s award-winning SpringboardNYC
program, Jonathan Larson Grant, and the Theatre Intern Group,
among other projects. She has performed and puppeteered for
two seasons with Shadow Box Theatre at Bleecker Street
Theatre. Graduate of Sarah Lawrence College. Upcoming
production - her wedding to best friend Tommy.

About the Gym at Judson:
The Gym at Judson is a new workout space for the arts in the heart of
Greenwich Village. A sanctuary for emerging artists in theater, dance,
music and visual arts, The Gym will draw on Judson's rich legacy of
presenting challenging, groundbreaking work. A full-size gymnasium
with 30 foot ceilings, the space is being converted into a multi-use
theater facility, complete with state of the art lighting and sound
equipment, and flexible seating for up to 200. An extensive renovation
of the public restrooms is planned for this summer, for which funds are
now being raised. The Gym at Judson will be operated by its own
programming staff, under the umbrella of Judson Arts & Action, a
501(c)3 subsidiary (in formation) of Judson Memorial Church. For more
