The all-new Stroker Series is a revolutionary
dual-spider design and is the most advanced
subwoofer available today in its class. Offering
new design technologies and materials, the
series includes 10- inch, 12- inch and 15-inch
models.
The new Stroker exemplifies the tradition of
the original legendary Stroker series. Its dual
spider design maintains linearity and stabilizes
the speaker in extreme excursion conditions.
The new Stroker epitomizes high-output,
high-performance subwoofers and has a linear
operating range to an incredible 29mm in
each direction.
The Stroker can handle an amazing 2000
watts of power and provides more than two
inches of peak – peak excursion when loaded
into a “High-Q” enclosure. Because of this
extreme power capacity, a unique aluminum
basket was designed to increase efficiency
and thermal power handling while also
reducing thermal compression. The voice coil
is placed directly next to an aluminum heat
sink that is integrated into the basket.
The basket design employs external heatsinking to dissipate heat that is pulled away
from the coil into the enclosure and away
from the coil itself. In a sealed enclosure,
this reduces the internal ambient heat by as
much as 50%. Another technology breakthrough is the unique motor geometry,
which allows extremely high excursions with
shorter voice coils than conventional designs.
This results in a woofer with extremely high
SPL capability as well as high sensitivity with
superior accuracy. As with Stroker Pro, Stroker
can be on-site repaired with minimal effort
and without the use of glue or set times.

The EXL Series:
EXL amplifiers use a MOSFET power supply
coupled with bipolar output transistors for
superior control of signal throughout the amplification process. Careful attention to symmetrical
signal paths in the circuit design keeps RFI at
low levels. Low RFI means more music with
less background noise! Transparent protection
circuits safeguard the EXL amplifier in the most
demanding applications. All connections are
terminal style connections and the controls
feature calibrated controls for easy adjustment.
EXL amplifiers will surpass the CEA 2006 rating
standard and each is fully tested before they
leave the factory, insuring they will perform to
our stringent standards after they’re installed.

XL amplifiers use the same technology as the
EXL amplifiers in the power supply and output
stage. Careful attention is given to the design
as to be cost effective without giving up the
performance you expect from Cerwin-Vega!
The XL amplifier line features two, 2-channel
amplifiers, one, 4-channel model and two,
2-Ohm mono block “stackable” models.
The mono block versions are class AB and
class H for superior sound quality. The XL
600.1 utilizes a class H design for AB sound
quality with the efficiency of a class D!
Again, as with EXL , all XL models are
individually tested before leaving the factory.
