Whence It Came Retiree Peter Rinaldi displays the piece of Carrara marble that he recovered at the World Trade Center after 9/11 and later sent on behalf of the Port Authority to the City of Carrara, Italy, for its 9/11 memorial. Mr. Rinaldi visited in October to see the memorial and meet the city officials who were involved, including Carrara Mayor Angelo Zubbani and Cultural Affairs Counselor Giovanna Bernardini (also pictured).
