A few words from the organiser
The leisure vehicle industry is riding the crest
of the wave of popularity. And it’s easy to see
why. With more opportunities to embrace
the Great Outdoors than ever, and even
more innovations in caravans, motorhomes,
campervans, trailer tents, folding campers,
caravan holiday homes, lodges – the latest
leisure vehicles really are impressive.

flavour of just some of the many destinations you can visit when you have

Based on a 'teardrop' style T@B caravan,

Two new models are set to be revealed
from Coachman – the five-berth (six
optional), twin-lounge Vision 570; and
the two-berth, fixed bed, side dinette,
end washroom Pastiche 470.
Just as important, Coachman has
been working hard to reduce overall
weights across all of its ranges. The
new Pastiche 470, for instance, has
a maximum weight of 1,295kg, yet
includes Alde heating as part of its
standard inventory. And across the
whole of the eight-strong Vision
line-up, maximum weight is 1,525kg –
representing reductions of up to 70kg.

the silver dream
You surely won’t miss the
iconic American Airstream
tourers, in their distinctive
silver livery. There’s a trio
of the latest International
models lined up for you to
see – the 6.8m long, 2.3m
wide four-berth 534; threeberth front double bed, 6.8m
long 604; and the mighty
flagship 684 in 2.5m wide
format (pictured here). The
latter is widely recognised as
the ultimate Airstream.

Swift – even more
Sprite for your money
The all-new Sprite Freedom line-up
is sure to have you checking out the
sheer affordability of owning a brand
new caravan from arguably Swift’s
most iconic marque. The range – two
single-axle and one twin-axle – covers
three particularly family-friendly sixberth models.
Swift has also significantly revised
its Conqueror and Challenger series,
reflecting this in its alternative
Sterling Eccles range. 2016 also
sees the return of the Sterling Elites,
which will mirror Swift Conquerors,
while the Swift Elegance/Sterling
Continental ranges continue as
Swift’s most luxurious offerings.

Bailey –
Pegasus goes fourth
It’s the mid-market Pegasus line that
gets the most thorough of revamps for
2016, as it enters its fourth generation.
It’s a seven-model range that sees
the introduction of three new layouts
– lightweight (1,275kg) four-berth
Modena, transverse island bed Brindisi
and, the only twin-axle Pegasus, the
five-berth Palermo. The Ancona is
retained, but revisions here include a
full end washroom and a dedicated
children’s bedroom area.
These new Pegasus tourers take their
place between the entry-level Pursuit
and flagship Unicorn III ranges.
New to the Avante range is the 554,
mirrored as the Corona 554 from
Compass – a transverse island bed
with full-width rear washroom. Also
new is the Compass Rallye 636 twinaxle, with huge front lounge and rear
bunk beds.
The Crusader Aurora, a single-axle
island bed model, is also new. Plus,
there’s an Xplore addition – the
“family-friendly” 589 now tops the
range, with prices starting at £15,894.
Look out for the Silver Collection
special edition versions of the Altea
Eden (a new family tourer for up
to five) and Adora Isonzo as Adria
celebrates notching up 50 years of
caravan manufacturing, a period over
which it has produced over half a
million caravans.
You won’t miss the Altea 4Fours,
with their eye-catching exterior
paint schemes, alongside their more
standard Altea sister models, while
the Adora is a more mainstream line
of five layouts. Two Astellas top the
Adria offering for 2016, both now
available as full four-berths.

There are two new Lexons to report
from Lunar. The 570 features fixed
twin beds and the more family
oriented 580 includes bunks beds and
a side dinette.
The 570/4 is the new model here from
Venus, by Lunar. It is the increasingly
popular transverse double bed/fullwidth rear washroom formula that
you can also see in Lunar stablemates
Quasar 574 and Lexon 560.
From Lunar’s top-level Delta range,
the RI is also a transverse island bed
offering, this time with a central
washroom.

Adria – pushing
the boundaries
Auto-Trail –
extending the luxury
There are new models to
investigate throughout the
range, including an addition
to its successful Twin van
conversions – the 540 SPT –
as well as the Coral XL range
of overcab coachbuilts and
revamped Compacts. The latter
are narrow-bodied low-profile
coachbuilts – just 2.12m wide,
in two variants: the SP with
transverse rear double bed
and slightly longer SL with twin
single beds. There will also be
special edition versions, marked
Silver, of the Matrix 670SL lowprofile and Twin 600SPT. Both
will have all-silver exteriors and
high specifications.
Part of the Trigano group, but
otherwise very much British in
terms
of a portfolio of luxury
coachbuilt motorhomes. Look
out for latest editions of the
whole Auto-Trail tribe across the
Trackers, Apaches and rangetopping Frontiers.
For those who want an AutoTrail at a lower price, the Imala
line-up gets a new model, the
730, with island bed setting and
an overall length of just 7.35m.
These are going even more

unique full seven-berth. Look out,
also, for two new Zefiros – Z695
and Z696 both feature rear island
beds, with the latter also including
an electric drop-down double at

Bristol-based Bailey continues its
march up the charts with two ranges
of coachbuilt motorhomes built on an
exclusive Peugeot Boxer/Al-Ko
chassis. Approach Advance is a
four-model range offering value for
money. More upmarket is the sixstrong Approach Autograph series.
All motorhomes feature Bailey’s
Alu-Tech bodywork with six-year
(extendable) bodyshell warranty.
France’s Chausson, part of Trigano,
sees three new models – the 620
(with unique central island bed),
727GA (fixed twin single beds that
also make a double) and 737 (twin
single beds with rear washroom).
The Rio range has doubled – up to
four models from the two that were
introduced last time around, and now
with all-GRP bodywork, DAB radio
and 100W solar panel among the
across-the-board upgrades. The
budget Escape range gets an
addition, too, with the two-berth 622
joining the ranks.

Big news from the German giant as it
unveils its latest Hymer Van compact
coachbuilt series, based on Fiat/AlKo chassis and with overall lengths
starting from just 5.45m, along
with the new – and again compact
– HymerCar Ayers Rock elevating
roof camper: at just 5.4m long, it
has four travel seats and a fixed bed.
These newcomers slot into a group
portfolio that starts with the Carado
budget coachbuilts and goes all the
way through to Hymer’s own iconic
A-classes, where new models making
an appearance at the Show will be
two new PremiumLine layouts – 668
and 704 – as well as the latest ML-I,
the 620.

Transit series. There’s a new
model here, too, with the Hybrid
mRv (for multi-recreational
vehicle), which fits between the
Day Van and the Leisure Van. It
includes twin sliding doors, fixed
offside furniture, variable
optional removable rear seating,
suspended bed system and a
choice of three roof alternatives
overhead.
Autohaus
This manufacturer has
previously specialised in
Volkswagen campers, but the
Show will see it introducing the
all-new Kingston, based on a
Fiat Ducato – a full-four-berth, it
will also include a unique GRP
shower cubicle.
Lunar
Award-winning Camping Car
and Landstar conversions,
based on Nissan’s NV200 and
Mercedes’ Sprinter, respectively.
Bilbo’s
Another specialist van converter
that’s taken Ford’s latest Transit under
its wing, with its high-top Firefly
conversion. Devon also converts a wide
range of base vehicles, including
Renault’s Trafic and Master,
Volkswagen, Fiat’s Ducato and
Mercedes’ Sprinter.
Hillside Leisure
Volkswagen’s new T6 takes

All eyes will be on Danbury’s
latest Surf, coming on
Volkswagen’s new T6
Transporter base. But, look out
also for the GO! based on Ford’s
Transit, with prices starting from
£35,995 and a choice of
elevating roof or high-top.
FOLDING CARAVANS
Devon Conversions
Another specialist campervan producer
that is seeking to unveil its latest work
on Volkswagen’s T6. Hillside has also
enjoyed particular success with its
micro campers based on Nissan’s
NV200, and is also working to produce
campers based on the latest version of
Renault’s Trafic.
Nomad Campervans
Look out for a slightly different take on a
Volkswagen camper here, as Nomad will
be using the very latest T6 in Kombi
format, ie with all the seating supplied by
VW itself. That means factory fitted travel
seating for up to five, but with all the usual
campervan facilities. It’s called the Ranger
and prices start at under £40,000.

This specialist VW camper producer
from Scotland has been working on a
new elevating roof design.
Murvi
Long-established and multi-award
winning, Murvi makes van conversions
like no other. Come and see the latest
creations, on a choice of Fiat Ducato or
Ford Transit bases.
Vantage Motorhomes
Specialising in two-berths, the Gem is
an all-new model here, using the 5.4m
long Fiat Ducato and including a choice
of single beds or super king size double.
Vanworx
This VW camper specialist from Dorset
is expecting to be among the exhibitors
showing a conversion of Volkswagen’s
Transporter, in its very latest T6 guise.
Globecar
Extra equipment packs mean even
greater value across the whole of the
range of van conversions from
Germany’s Globecar. There’s also one
new model to earmark, the 6m long
600 with twin single beds that can also
make a double.
The Terrier range is extended, with Terrier
2 and Terrier Lux joining the ranks. Plus,
watch out for a stunning model
completed in conjunction with M-Sport.
Also new will be the Mercedes Vito-based
Moselle and Ford Connect-based Evie.
