Our Kampers offer generous interior space for
sleeping and living. You can easily enlarge your
living space with one of our awnings. These are
simple to attach with a full-length zipper and
velcro strip for sealing.
2.0 x 6.7m Kwik Awning
If you are touring around and only setting up camp for
short stays, our 2.0 x 6.7m Kwik Awning is perfect for
you. This can be erected with no ground poles and can
be folded away with the Kamper for a quick pack up.
If you need extra protection from the elements, add
2 poles & simply zip on some lightweight walls for a
cosy enclosed room. These walls feature large clear
windows to make the awning area feel bigger.
2.4 x 6.7m Extended Awning
When you are staying a little longer at your
destination, a 2.4 x 6.7m Extended Awning will
be for you. This gives you about 20% more room.
Add walls and you can add in another bedroom
under the awning for 2 children / 1 adult.

Leave small footprints
Minimise Use of LPG
Virtually all Caravans rely
solely on LPG and many rely
on site power or generators
for electrical energy. Reliance
on LPG can cause many
annoyances. When LPG is
burned, one of the by-products
is water vapour, which
contributes to excessive
humidity and condensation
inside the caravan. LPG can
be difficult to find in remote
areas, and it’s difficult to
top off a partially full cylinder.
At Kimberley, we ONLY use LPG
for outside cooking. All inside
refrigeration, cooking and hot
water is Diesel or 12V.

Our vacuum toilet uses
NO chemicals. As a result
the waste can be disposed
of without harm to the
environment. The bowl design
is absolutely brilliant. The inner
liner is easy to clean white
porcelain and the outer case is
white smooth plastic. There are
ZERO hard-to-clean spots.
Our ceramic cooktop is so easy
to clean without the charred
gas droppings! It is powered by
Diesel which is far more efficient
than LPG. The temperature rises
to 540º. Fuel consumption is
minimal.
Our LED lighting is specially
designed for us with a high
colour temperature to minimise
attraction to bugs and insects.
LED’s use about 10-15% of the
power of halogen lights and last
up to thousands of hours. There
is no mercury in them as there is
in fluorescent tubes and they are
soft on the “campsite eyes”.
Both our refrigerators use the
same compressor specially
set at a higher RPM for quick
performance. To improve
efficiency, the compressor is
remote mounted in the
upright unit. This gives practical
space for beverages which also
act as a cool mass. Our chest
type is Eutectic giving even
performance and high efficiency.
The tropical roof design
automatically goes up when the
Kamper or MYCUBE is opened.
The large air layer reduces the
inside temp by 20%+ in summer.
It reduces condensation in
winter.
Our Diesel Hot Water system
uses a heat exchanger that is
stainless steel. In the Karavan
it also includes a tank and
electric heater when site
power is available. In the
Kamper it produces virtually
instantaneous hot water on
demand. The tank system can be
completely flushed after travel.

heater uses high efficiency and
safe 12V dielectric technology
that automatically cuts off the
heating at a pre-set temperature.
This means the heat generated
radiates up through the mattress,
drying it of any moisture in high
humidity and heating the bed for
cold nights. It is controlled by a
programmable timer.
Our water management
Visi-flow™ system allows
you to pump from a stream
or billabong when water is
available. This bypasses the
large water tank and is used
in the hot water system. This
system is standard on several
models in both Kampers and
Karavans. It means you don’t
need to carry the weight of
so much water. A separate
fresh water tank has its only
pump and water filler for
drinking water. This is standard
on the Karavan and an Option
in the Kamper range.

The Kimberley Karavan combines
all the great towing features of our

and a canvas-free primary living area.
A compact fibreglass shell rises into
position to reveal a galley kitchen, dining
area, sleeping quarters and full ensuite
(with shower and toilet).
Opening the Karavan is easy - press the
Powerglide™ button to raise the canopy,
push out the bed and you are ready to

You may think that the more water a caravan/
camper can carry the better. This is only partly
true. Water is heavy, so you only want to carry
enough water that you calculate you will need.
The ideal scenario for minimising weight is to
have dual tanks: 1. your pure drinking water and
2. bore water or equivalent. Without this, you will
end up carrying too much water between fills.

IN A KIMBERLEY KARAVAN
Management Systems
diesel heater and cooktop
The diesel heater and cooktop can run on standard
diesel. These are quiet and very efficient in diesel
consumption. 12 Litres of Diesel use in the Karavan
is the equivalent to nearly 24kgs of LPG should LPG
appliances be used instead. Customer feedback
is that 12L will last 60 days of typical use.
Caravan & camper trailer manufacturers have not
made it easy to achieve sustainable energy goals
with 3 way refrigerators, LPG hot water and halogen
lighting. These all consume too much energy. We
constantly ask travellers for feedback on our solutions
and can safely say that nearly all appreciate the
value of energy efficiency. It just takes a little more
investment, a little more planning and a little more
attention to minimise power when it is not needed.
