Al Ahly For Real Estate Development Company was founded in 1994, a joint stock
company according to the Egyptian law section 159 for year 1981. The company
partners are The National Bank of Egypt, which is the largest bank in the Middle
East and was established since 1898. The bank has a share of 40% and the other
60% is by the Sabbour Family. The Chairman of the company is Eng. Hussein
Sabbour, who is known for establishing one of the first engineering consultancy
firms in Egypt since 1957. These two joints joint ventured to introduce a prominent
real estate business that exists today. The projects range all over Egypt from the
city and its outskirts all the way to the Red Sea and North Coast. Al-Ahly works in
many different real estate sectors such as commercial, residential, and touristic.

allowed industry professionals, consumers, private and international investors, businesses and end users insight into one of the world

Cityscape Egypt in association with Next Move opened its doors to the inaugural exhibition and conference on the 20th of February 2012
at the Cairo International Convention Centre in Cairo.
Why Cityscape Egypt?
Four years ago, Egypt was not among the top ten destinations for investing in real estate, but now, according to a survey of 200 investors,
it has reached the pinnacle,” said Blair Hagkull, MENA Chairman of Jones Lang LaSalle, a global real estate services and investment
management firm.
Egypt now ranks number two behind Saudi Arabia in terms of investor confidence. Rural migration toward bigger cities, most notably,
Cairo, has been a driving force. In addition, there are 600,000 marriages per year in Egypt, which, in theory, translates into the same
number of couples looking to make a housing purchase.
Egypt’s residential real estate sector weathered the global economic downturn better than most, thanks to a young population and a cash
economy that isolated it from troubled international credit markets. However, while the lack of a robust mortgage industry shielded the
country from the international crisis, it has been a hindrance to the development of mid-range real estate market.
Foreign direct investment (FDI), another imperative indicator, into the Egyptian real estate sector, began to gather steam following the
G7 summit near the end of 2008, as “the new key word was ‘emerging markets’. Against this background, Egypt immediately blipped on
investors’ radars, as it is a populous and stable country.

Cooperation between FAME Academies & Fundación Real Madrid
In January 2012, FAME Academies signed a contract with Fundación Real Madrid which gives it the exclusive rights to establish
the first Real Madrid Foundation Academy in Egypt for football. The Academy in Egypt is the first Technical Academy worldwide
for Real Madrid outside Spain.
Real Madrid’s traditional home colours are all white
Although before its foundation the first kit initially adopted a blue oblique
stripe on the shirt (the design was kept in the club crest); but unlike today,
dark blue socks were worn. In the same year, the blue socks were replaced
by black ones. Real Madrid has maintained the white shirt for its home kit
throughout the history of the club. There was however one season that the
shirt and shorts were not both white. Years later, Leeds United switched
their blue shirt for a white one after marveling at Real Madrid’s 7-3 Victory
against Eintracht Frankfurt in Glasgow’s Hampden Park. By the early 1940s
the manager changed the kit again by adding buttons to the shirt and the
club’s crest on the left breast (which have remained ever since).
Fundación Real Madrid
The Fundación Real Madrid is the instrument by which the Real Madrid Football Club makes efficient use of its
social and corporate responsibility, and by which it develops projects of a social and formative nature. The Club
makes an annual donation to the Fundación in order for it to undertake several activities.
The Fundación Real Madrid has as its main purpose of promoting the playing of sports among children and
young people, based on the understanding that playing sports contributes to the integral development of their
personality, as well as providing positive leisure time alternatives over situations of risk and to promoting healthy
lifestyles and habits among the young, both in Spain and the rest of the world.
The Fundación Real Madrid considers playing sports to be an important factor in social integration and for

FAME Academies started this collaboration with Fundación Real Madrid in order to provide the children and youth with a lifetime
opportunity for development as professional players in two ways, “Technical Academy” and “Social Academy”.
• Real Madrid Foundation Technical Academy will be the first to open worldwide outside Spain; it is dedicated to developing the youngsters,
boys and girls, into professional players through high standard football education that is supervised by the Real Madrid Foundation
trainers. The Real Madrid Foundation Technical Academy commences in April 2012.
• Real Madrid Foundation Social Academy is targeting the unfortunate youngsters, boys and girls, who do not have an equal chance to
practice football because of their tough economic and social conditions. The social school will be free of charge, and aims for the social
integration of disfavored children. The Real Madrid Foundation Social Academy will launch in September 2012.

Benefits of Horseback riding
for your Child
I firmly believe that horses and riding are good for children - physically, intellectually,
emotionally, and spiritually. Together, horses and instructors make riders; together, good
horses and good instructors make riders, horsemen, and good human beings.
What does riding do for children?
It gets them up and active and out in all kinds of weather, yearround. Once upon a time, this wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, but
nowadays, when so many schools are eliminating physical exercise
from the curriculum, riding may be the only way for some children to
tap into the benefits of physical activity and fitness. For horses and
for humans, physical activity is essential for good health. Restricted
movement and confinement aren’t natural or healthy, and neither
horses nor humans can stay sane and sensible when deprived of
movement, circulation, and oxygen to the brain. In terms of posture
and breathing alone, riding makes an enormous difference that is
noticeable at school and at home.
Riding teaches children in a way that classroom lectures cannot.
Through interacting with horses and watching good role models,
riders learn much more than riding skills. They learn to be thoughtful
and gentle, compassion ate and empathetic. They learn to be
patient. They also learn courage — and determination.
Riders learn to take responsibility for their own actions, and for the
consequences of those actions. This is essential training for school,
for college, for a career, for life as an adult and a parent and an
all- around useful citizen. As they learn to look after horses well,
they also master any number of subjects that they aren’t offered in
school — the value of exercise and conditioning, and the importance
of warm ups, cool-downs, and proper nutrition.
Horsemanship isn’t limited to horses - the attitudes and habits
of a horse man can be applied throughout life. Learning to care
for horses properly means learning how to take responsibility for
another being that is completely dependent on them for its care,
health and happiness. It’s an ideal education for future parents. (In
Pony Club, we used to say — and rightly - “When Pony Clubbers
grow up, they make the best parents!”) Grooming horses, cleaning
stalls, scrubbing water buckets and cleaning tack are chores that
must be done. Whether the ride was enjoyable or frustrating, when
it’s over, the horse’s needs must be met. Cooling the horse down,
giving it water, grooming it, being sure that it has a clean stall or
paddock in which to relax, feeding it, and only then taking time to
look after their own needs — these are the habits of a horseman.
They are also the habits of good parents — and of young riders
who are learning to be horsemen, and who will grow up to be
compassionate, empathetic, careful, caring parents who put their
children first, see to the children’s needs before getting their own
drink, dinner, shower, or nap, and who won’t back away from diaper
changes or from sick and fretful offspring.
Riding and horsemanship don’t distract children from their studies
they help them study more wisely and much more effectively.
Riding involves discipline and self-discipline. Attentive riders learn
to appreciate the value of systematic, progressive training. They
learn to apply themselves to their studies, and they learn how to
stay focused, work hard — and work smart.
Riders learn to understand the importance of process. In riding, you
can’t copy someone else’s answers, because it’s not just a matter
of getting the right answer, but of getting the answer in the right way.
With the help of good teachers (human and equine), they learn
about themselves, and they learn how they learn best — and what
sort of teaching approach they find most useful and effective. They
also learn some very practical social skills, such as how to put their
own egos aside, how to look for causes, reasons, and solutions,
and how to think instead of just reacting with a burst of temper.
These skills will benefit the riders forever, even if they give up riding.
Riding lessons provide useful reality checks. Riders learn to be
attentive and observant. They learn the importance of having and
using safety equipment and safety practices, and they learn that no
matter how much they may adore their horses, the horses are still
horses and are always capable of reacting to surprises or pain with
a startle, rear, or kick.
Horses and riding can promote children’s selfesteem and help gaining competence as riders
and gives them a type of confidence that simply
can’t be matched in any other sport, because
they’ve not only acquired skills, they’ve built a
relationship with their horse.
“It builds character” is usually said about things
that are unpleasant or painful — things we don’t
enjoy doing and don’t want to do. Riding is a
pleasant and enjoyable way to build character.
Respect, compassion, empathy, responsibility,
honesty, integrity, focus and follow-through.

to Lose Weight
