The sea breeze and the sunsets that
transform the colors of the facades of
houses more than400 years old, enchant
visitors in Cartagena. This city, designated
as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was
founded in 1533 by Pedro de Heredia, and
still retains its Spanish colonial
architecture of its buildings and
fortifications.
ITINERARY
Day 1: Cartagena
According to the time of the flight pickup at the airport
and transfer to the hotel.
After the arrival we started the tour, making a tour of
Bocagrande and Castillogrande sector, bordering the
Club Naval Bay, Marine Corps, Naval Base, and
Neighborhood Center of Manga and foot of La Popa, the
Avenida Don Pedro de Heredia up Monument of Old
Shoes, where you can appreciate its beauty and take
pictures and then go to the monastery of La Popa, where
we find the la Virgen de la Candelaria Chapel, the
patroness of the city, descend to the imposing fortress of
Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas.
Day 2: Sociedad Portuaria de
Cartagena and Caribe Jewelry Society
Visit to the Sociedad Portuaria de Cartagena the main
logistics platform in the Caribbean. It has established
itself as a center of basic connections for the
transshipment of cargo both regionally and globally.
Currently, it is connected with 614 ports in 140
countries around the world and serves 25 shipping
lines.

Tour at the Caribe Jewelry Society a manufacturing and
commercial business dedicated to the manufacture,
distribution and sale of jewelery with emeralds, made
in 18 karat gold.
Day 3: Reficar and Sura Group
Visit to Reficar - Cartagena Refinery which arises in
order to improve and expand the refining sector, which
until then had been in charge of the public sector; this
in the perspective of strengthening energy selfsufficiency and chains of this subsector, as a supplier of
raw materials for the petrochemical industry,
especially.

After we go to Sura Group a leading company, one of
the biggest and importants companies in Colombia.
Day 4: Kangupor & manuelita
Visit to Kangupor leader company in manufacturing
and distributing polystyrene products.

Technological visit to oils manuelita plant, one of
the most important agro-industrial companies in the
country, dedicated to producing high quality refined
sugar and bioethanol fuel.
Day 5: Rosario Islands
Tour aboard comfortable and safe speedboats,
panoramic tour of the 27 islands of the Archipelago.
Landed only 2 islands, including Typical lunch.
At night tour in a “Chiva” a typical colombian bus
characterized for being a party, it has a typical music
group called “millo”, stop in a nightclub.
Day 6: Departure
According to the time of the flight leisure and transfer
to the Airport.
