All of the rooms have been designed by Silvia Tcherassi and
named for elegant fabrics used in her fashion collections;
providing just one example of how Tcherassi incorporates
fashion into the hotel’s design. Offering either views of the city,
the lush garden and beyond, the large rooms (ranging in size
from 400 sq ft to 1200 sq ft) feature restored original stone
walls, dramatic high ceilings and private walk-out balconies
creating an open and airy Caribbean feel.
With 30 ft ceilings, wood floors, large sound proof windows
and a luxurious open bathroom featuring a double sink,
rainshower and elegant tub, there is plenty of room for guests
to feel at home.
VERA
A 40-seat italian restaurant and lounge, whose name means
“truthful” reflecting its authenticity, will satiate diners during
breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.
A French Culinary Institute graduate and one-time protégé
of acclaimed Chef Mario Batali, Daniel Castaño brings his
authentic Italian coastal cuisine to VERA. The restored, original
250 year old stone wall and a vertical garden consisting of
over 3000 local plants provide diners a perfect framework to
sit and enjoy Cartagena’s best new restaurant.
