A new lecture series at the historic
St Pancras Old Church is raising
money for urgent works on the
building. Next up, on Thursday 12
March at the church in Pancras

Tickets, which can be bought via www.sosstpancras.org or
on the door, are £10 and go towards the church’s appeals
project. The bar opens at 6.30pm and the lecture will begin at
7pm. There are further lectures being given as part of the
series and all information is available on the St Pancras Old
Church website.

Great Place 2015
St Pancras International has
officially been crowned the UK and
Ireland’s ‘Great Place’ of 2015.
Presented by The Academy of
Urbanism, the prestigious award is
given to a place that has had a
positive impact on the economy,
community and physical
environment of its local area.
Following an £800million restoration project in 2007, St
Pancras International has played a big part in the regeneration
of the area. The station also hosts the world’s longest
Champagne bar and luxury stores like Whistles and Aspinals
as well as London’s oldest book store chain, Hatchards, and
free­to­play pianos.

NOTES OPEN IN
PANCRAS SQUARE
Notes, the coffee and wine
specialists, opened in Pancras
Square last month and is offering
up a daily serving of organic porridge
and pastries for breakfast, alongside
a cup of their famous coffee.
Lunchtimes sees a selection of
fresh handmade salads and
sandwiches, whist the evenings
allow visitors to relax over light plates, with a glass of finely
selected wine. Indulge in coffee and wine heaven in the
stunning, newly­opened Pancras Square now.
VINOTECA TO OPEN IN
KING'S CROSS
Vinoteca restaurant, wine bar &
shop will be opening in Pancras
Square soon. The latest addition to
the group will feature a 90­seat
restaurant with outdoor terrace plus
its very first dedicated wine shop
and tasting space. The shop will be
open to the public on 2 March,
ahead of the restaurant, bursting
with an impressive range of over 250 wines. You can join
Vinoteca for its soft launch period from 10­19 March, during
which time there will be a 50% discount on all food and drink!

Uncover the story of how its
power has been used and
abused in the largest
exhibition ever staged about
Magna Carta. From 13
March at the British
Library you will be able to
discover the history and
challenge the myth of one of
the world’s most famous
documents. On show will
be iconic documents and
artefacts, including two of
the four original 1215 copies
of Magna Carta, Jefferson’s
copy of the US Declaration
of Independence and one of
the original copies of the US
Bill of Rights, stunning
paintings, maps, statues and
royal relics. For more
