PCRMC implemented a color-coded parking lot system to
increase patient and visitor accessibility to the hospital. The
new signs provide a sense of location to patients and visitors as
they navigate specific areas and buildings at the hospital. The
wayfinding signage promotes stress reduction, efficiency, visitor
accessibility, and a safer parking area. Each entrance, along with
the associated parking lot, is color-coded using the following key:
• Main Entrance is yellow lot
• North and Medical Office Building Entrance is green lot
• East Entrance is blue lot.
The signs in front of each building feature each entrance name
and a list of services provided within the building. The sections
are color-coded and displayed on sign posts and each entrance to
help guests find their way to and from the facility easier.
