Popular biking, walking, running trail 9 Eye of God Scenic Bike L oop ake L win d l Ba Paradise Way 38 City Bike Routes – Beginner/Intermediate – Easy City bike loops that can be cut short or made longer as rider chooses: Lakeview Loop – 2.8 miles Eagle Point Loop –3.4 miles Moonridge Loop – 6.5 miles Big Bear Lake Loop – Intermediate – 17 miles roundtrip - Relatively flat loop around Big Bear Lake and through neighborhoods. Some narrow roads and traffic in sections from west of Village to Big Bear Lake Dam (Not safe for families) Pioneer Town Rd (2N02) 18 Big Bear Lake + Baldwin Lake Loops – Intermediate - 32 miles roundtrip - Relatively flat Valley loop around Big Bear Lake & Baldwin Lake and through neighborhoods. Some narrow roads and traffic in sections from west of Village to Big Bear Lake Dam (Not safe for families) Mountain View Those wishing more advanced or longer rides can extend these rides by: • Head west on Hwy 18 across the Arctic Circle to Lakeview Point (5 miles) and turnaround at Caltrans yard. • In east valley, climb up Hwy 38 - turn at East Big Bear Blvd. and continue to Zaca Rd., turn right on Zaca Rd to Hwy 38. Left on Hwy 38 and climb to top of Onyx Summit and turnaround (18 miles + 1500’ climbing additional roundtrip). Parking and access through Bristlecone Trailhead. . Skyline Trail (via chairlift or Bear Mountain via 2N10) – Intermediate – 30 miles roundtrip – Accessible via one-way chairlift ride (ticket required) at Snow Summit or via car on 2N10 up from Bear Mountain. Skyline Trail is currently over 15 miles of spectacular single track multi-use trail following the south ridgeline. Some technical sections not appropriate for beginners or children. Parking and access at Skyline Trailhead at intersection of 2N10 and 2N06. These are downhill trails with twists and turns, bridges and jumps. Fox Farm Rd McAlister Rd 38 ridge e ERWIN LAKE ake in L Erw Grout Bay Trail – Intermediate – 13 miles – Beautiful single track ride that begins in downtown Fawnskin, travels up a fire road to Hanna Flat Campground. Trail starts at space #51 and is a single track trail that climbs and descends back down into the Grout Bay Trailhead just west of downtown Fawnskin. Holcomb Valley Pinnacles - over 300 established routes. Sport and traditional climbing, bouldering, dispersed camping. Castle Rock - Beginner to advanced climbs with great views at the top. Easy top rope setup. Close to road. Beginner friendly introduction to trail running. Skyline Loop (9 Miles) - Knickerbocker Rd (2N08) to Coyote Rd (2N51Y). Veer left on Coyote Rd (2N51Y) and continue past Skyline Rd (2N10) to Skyline Trail (1E12). Skyline Trail West to Grand View Point Trail (1E01). Right on Grandview Trail (1E01) across Skyline Rd (2N10) and continue down Pine Knot Trail (1E01). Pine Knot Trail (1E01) to Knickerbocker Rd (2N08). Knickerbocker Rd (2N08) continue to end of town. Classic South shore loop.
