He holds a master’s degree from Hamline. He received a bachelor of arts degree in instrumental music education and studied under many distinguished professors and professional instrumentalists. Along with SCL’s high school and middle school instrumental programs, he helps direct five of the area Lutheran grade school programs. This is Mr. Fenske’s third year at St. Croix Lutheran. Under his direction, the Crusader band was rated Superior in Category 1 in the State Large Group Ensemble competition in 2015 and 2016. CROIX LUTHERAN St. Croix Lutheran Grades 6-12 is a Christian middle school and high school of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) serving young men and women.
