Herbalife signs on rising squash star Dipika Pallikal

BENGALURU: Dipika Pallikal, India's squash queen and women's world no 15, has been signed on by Herbalife as the global nutrition company's fifth
Indian sports brand ambassador.
The association was announced at a function organised here Tuesday. Other Indian sportspersons endorsing Herbalife include badminton ace Saina
Nehwal, tennis star Somdev Devvarman, cricketer Virat Kohli and boxer MC Mary Kom.
“It's an honour being part of a group that includes Saina and Somdev. Squash in India has been moving in the right direction. Joshna (Chinappa),
Saurav (Ghosal) and I have been regulars on the tour and things can only get better from here,” said the 20-year-old.
“This is our fifth such sports association. We welcome Dipika into our family of young sports achievers and wish her all the best in her future
endeavours,” said Ajay Khanna, country head, Herbalife.

At just age 20, Dipika has been ranked 15 in the World Squash Rankings and hopes to break into the Top 10 ranking by the end of 2012. She is the
first Indian squash player to make her way into the world Top 20. Dipika has won the Dutch Open, German Open, French Open, Australian Open and
Scottish Open in the World Squash Junior Circuit. After entering the Senior Circuit she won the Nepal Open in November 2010 and the Orange County
Open (USA) in September 2011.
