In Venray (Netherlands) the EMEA Distribution Center is located and with more than 130 employees the EDC takes care of the distribution to independent Distributors (Europe) and other Distribution Centers (Worldwide). This newly created position will allow EDC Venray to manage better relationships with it’s vendors, improving supply and cost efficiency. • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Tasks and responsibilities Manages Venray Purchasing team and day-to-day business as it relates to supply of Herbalife product and other purchases bearing items into Venray’s European Distribution Center; Responsible for product availability and zero OOS (Out of Stock) situation within the entire (EMEA) supply chain; Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships; Assist department management in developing and implementing purchasing strategies for products; Develops systems and processes to support and improve EMEA product availability while reducing inventory holding; Sets team objectives and creates environment for team to meet these and for them to take ownership and strive for continuous (process) improvement; Procurement of Product, Marketing Material and packaging (components); Prepare contracts (DSA’s); agreeing terms and conditions with EMEA based Product suppliers; Minimum Qualifications Bachelor degree in Business Economics, NEVI 1, preferably NEVI 2 Highly developed analytical skills; At least 3 years experience in a supervisory position within a FMCG multi national environment; Experience with purchasing in an international setting Thorough knowledge of ERP software, preferably Oracle; Fluent in English, verbally and in writing; Perform well under pressure handling multiple dead lines; Hands-on mentality; Strong customer focus and result oriented; Excellent organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to deal with changing priorities; Highly communicative, across all levels of the organization and external business relations We Offer Herbalife offers challenging jobs in a professional and informal work environment.
