On the 1st of August, we had 15 souls meet at the Highway
2 Heaven Biker Church for our trip to Chick-fil-A. We left
with two bikes and four cages.
Jason smiling and ready for action.
When we arrived, we met five more of the H2HBC folks
and there was a line of people 20 to 30 long and the drive
through went out to the 31st street one direction and the side
street the other direction. The neat thing about this was that
everyone seemed to be happy being in a line! I actually
went around asking folks about standing in line and
everyone I asked was excited that they had to wait! It was
all about speaking up for our freedom of speech. Amen?
Yes, Christians have that right too, Amen?
There is a drive thru lane to the right of this crowd so the
line stops and starts again on the other side of that lane!
On the 4th of August, the Lord brought together 10 souls for
a breakfast ride at the Cracker Barrell in Harker Heights. It
was a blessing to have the fellowship with like minded
Christian brothers and sisters. Not only that but the divine
appointment with a brother at the Exxon who needed a word
of encouragement and a hug with a prayer! His wife was in
the hospital and he had tons of weight on him! Jason and I
prayed with him and the Holy Spirit gave him peace. Thank
you Jesus. We also had the pleasure to be in fellowship with
a couple that we have not rode with since about 2005! Yes,
God is good. Below is a picture of most of us before we left
the Cracker Barrel and headed up to Oglesby for a cancer
benefit.
Afterwards we all went over to the Black Meg's and it
looked like a H2HBC family reunion!
On the 7th of August, we had our monthly Chariots meeting
and discussed upcoming events. During the meeting we
learned that Kathy was at the ER with congestive heart
failure. Troy closed us in prayer and we all lifted her up for
God's healing. I dropped in at the emergency room to see
her and pray with her. She was in good spirits but scared.
On the 8th of August, I drove to Temple right after work and
visited with Joe Pucciariello. Joe was doing pretty good but
a little depressed about being moved so far away from us.
They plan on moving him Burleson. The Lord brought in
not quite a dozen souls for HIS Bible study and we all had a
good time browsing through the book of Genesis. Everyone
was excited about the new study on its way, God's Armor
Bearer. I talked to Kathy on the phone and she is doing
much better! She was breathing much better and in really
good spirits.
On the 9th of August, Tom went in the hospital for a good
look at his heart and they did two stints while in there. He
was released and on his way home about the same time I
arrived home. God is so good! Praise him for allowing the
doctors to be able to do things so complicated in a "outpatient" mode! Kathy was moved to Scott and White as they
have found some blockage and want to get a better look at
the valve. We claim God's hand on her!
On the 5th of August, God brought nearly 60 souls for
church at H2HBC. The anointing was so thick that we had a
re-dedication during the praise and worship time! Yes,
before the preaching started God brought one back to HIS
fold. Give him all the Glory! God did anoint the message
"Satan's plan to break down the American People" and many
left changed for HIS glory! Then we headed to Dave's
Sports Bar and Grill and we had nearly 50 souls for another
anointed message! God brought one forward during the
praise and worship again and the message "Give God the
Eraser" touched many!
On the 10th of August, Kathy went in for her procedure and
the doctors didn't find any problems. I went straight to Scott
and White after work to check on Kathy. I gave her and
Mike a ride home and arrived to my house just at 7PM. I
was just in time to join more church family (mostly
Chariots) at the City Auditorium for a free gospel music
night! We all had fun and enjoyed the fellowship! God is so
good.
On the 11th of August, Tammy, Ethan and I drove to
Temple to the children's hospital. We visited with Susan and
MJ for about an hour and then headed over to Long John
Silver’s for lunch. We met two more Chariots (Dustin and
Deana) there for lunch as well. We had some good foor and
great fellowship!
On the 12th of August, the Lord anointed the music and
prepared the hearts of many for HIS message at H2HBC.
After the message we had quite a few that went to J and M
BBQ for lunch. They were ecstatic that we came in with so
many folks! The lady said, "I really appreciate ya'll coming
in with so many people! I am working my b%$# off but I
really appreciate it." We all laughed at her but you could see
she was sincere about all the business coming in. Once again
the food and fellowship was awesome! After the good meal
I headed out to Van Horn Acres to get the sofa and end table
for Barbara and Katie's place. Dustin, Deana, Jennifer,
Donna, Marty and Dustin followed me out there to see the
place and pray over it as well as help move the furniture.
What a blessing!
On the 13th of August, We received a phone call from Eddy
and Kandi Walkos, fellow Chariots from our sister area in
Cove. They needed some road side assistance. It was a
blessing to see them even for a short while. After pouring in
some petro they were able to head on down the road. It is a
blessing to be a blessing, amen?
On the 15th of August, Shirley Pucciariello sent us a key to
their house with overnight delivery so we could get Joe's
wheel chair for him. The Lord brought in 14 souls for HIS
Bible Study and we had a good time in the book of
Matthew. We are all excited about the God's Armor Bearer
study that has been ordered! After the Bible Study we had 8
folks (all Chariots) that dropped in at Bush's for some late
supper. Once again we had some good food and some great
fellowship.
On the 16th of August, We received the key to the
Pucciariello's home. The plan is for about four Chariots and
Ethan to go see Joe on the 18th. At about 10 minutes till
5PM we had eight (8) souls ready to follow Richard to his
wedding out in Mosheim! We had a nice ride (three bikes
and two cages) out to Judy's brother's house. The wedding
was very nice and it was such a blessing to be part of it!
th
On the 17 of August, Tammy, Ethan and I went over to the
Pucciariello's home and loaded up the electric wheel chair
into the trailer. I made it into some fun for Ethan!
The trailer just seemed like a huge overkill and I called Joe.
Come to find out the wheel chair only weighs 350 pounds!
So we went over to Adam's house and unloaded it from the
trailer and picked it up and loaded it into the truck! Dustin
and Deana were going with us so we had help getting it out
of the truck once we got to the Huguely rehabilitation place.
Well, then plans changed (Give God the Eraser right?) and it
was just us going but we still managed thanks to the ramps I
had for the ultra light plane I use to have. God is good. But
we were not sure Tammy and and I could unload the wheel
chair by our self so we did a “dry run”. Yep, we unloaded it
with no problems. There was just one problem! We
couldn’t use the ramps to load the wheel chair back up! So
we had to call Adam and have him help us pick it back up
and put it in the truck!
On the 18th of August, At about 8:30AM we headed to
Burleson with the wheel chair. It was a nice drive and we
only hit a little bit of rain. Joe was watching out the window
for us and rolled up to where we were parked just as we
rolled his electric chair off the last rung of the ramps. We
got to visit with Joe for about an hour.
He made some very good coffee for me and we talked about
bikes and trikes and of course the Lord! One thing for sure
is that Joe doesn't want to stay in Burleson very long and is
talking about his return to Gatesville! We are all looking
forward to his return as well, but not as much as he is.
After a prayer with Joe and Good-bye hugs we loaded up
and headed home just as the rain let loose! It came pouring
down and we stopped by Joe's window and waved good-bye
again while he watched for us. We took I-35 to Waco and
the traffic was crazy! But, the Lord protected us and got us
home safe.
On the 19th of August, the Lord brought in close to 60 souls
for HIS service again this morning. He prepared the hearts
with the music and anointed the message again as well! The
Lord touched many during the message, "The First Step is
Taking the First Step". After the service we loaded up and
rode to Leona Park for some baptisms! We had an awesome
turnout (Nearly 30 souls) from the church family to watch
the three baptisms!
Justin Jackson
After we changed into some dry clothes we had a few say
good-bye and head home but we still had 14 souls head on
to Temple Dairy Queen for a bite to eat. Talk about
fellowship! You would think that we would get tired of
each other at some point! Guess you don’t when you are
family.
On the 22nd of August, the Lord brought in nearly 20 souls
for HIS Bible Study! Everyone left feeling comfortable and
confident that they indeed had the "right Bible". Everyone
is getting anxious for the new Bible Study! We hope the
books are in this next week!
On the 25th of August, we headed to Dave's Sports Bar and
Grill for the Eris Richardson Benefit. I got to visit with
quite a few folks as soon as we arrived. I had the blessing of
being able to meet Eric Richardson for the first time and lay
hands on and pray with and for him.
Sara Bundrant (above) Rebekah Haferkamp (below)
More than once, I found myself visiting with like minded
brothers and being able to pray with them as well!
After church service we also had a car blessing and a Bike
Blessing.
Isn't it amazing how everything just seems to feel so much
better after praying with another blood bought Saint of
God? Wow! God is so Good! The benefit was a huge
success and the Richardson family was truly touched by a
bunch of bikers. The bike show and games was a hit and the
trophies a plus as well!
On the 29th of August, the Lord brought in over 20 souls for
the God's Armor Bearer Bible study! We had a great first
session! Dustin and Deana did a wonderful job going over
the book and study guide! I think everyone is looking
forward to next week!
On the 26th of August, God saturated the sanctuary with the
Holy Spirit! Nearly 50 souls came expecting a change and
indeed left changed! God is so awesome! The music was
anointed and we had over 10 minutes of prayer with many
special prayer requests from wounded warriors of Christ and
we even had one rededication for God's Glory! Yes! Before
I started preaching, is God good or what?!!! The message
was "Three Dollars Worth." Give him all the Glory!
On the 30th of August, two armor bearers (Dennis and
Rebekah) met at H2HBC and did some servants work.
On the 31st of August, Tammy took my mother to Scott and
White for Same day surgery. All went well with the
Surgery. Donna also had surgery and went home. We took
the bike and enjoyed the just over an hour ride to Settle's
Point for a wedding rehearsal. On the way back we met a
couple armor bearers, Dustin and Deana at the Belton Sonic
and had great fellowship while we broke bread! The
assistant manager came out and said he thought he
recognized us from last year and wanted us to know that he
is starting up a Thursday bike night again! Sounds like fun!
