galeriehouders op 7, 8 en 9 april 2014.

Een delegatie Franse kunstenaars bestaande
uit ontwerpers van unieke objecten,
sculpturen gemaakt van aardewerk, hout en
brons zal van 7 tot 9 april a.s. in Nederland
verblijven om Nederlandse galeriehouders te
ontmoeten. Dit evenement, opgezet in samenwerking met de Nederlandse Galerie Associatie (www.nga.nu) en de Franse
vakvereniging Ateliers d’Art de France
(www.ateliersdart.com) heeft als doel om
contacten te bevorderen tussen beiden landen
en een beeld te krijgen van de behoeften van
Nederlandse galeriehouders.

Indien u een afspraak wilt maken tussen 7 en
9 april met een of meerdere kunstenaars kan
dat zowel op locatie (in uw galerie) als in het
Franse Instituut georganiseerd worden.
U bent tevens van harte welkom langs te
komen bij de opening van de expositie op
8 april om 18.00 uur, Vijzelgracht 2A,
1017 HR, in Amsterdam.
De werken zijn van 9 april t/m 28 mei te
bezichten in het Institut français.

Vincent Tournebize’s work is exhibited in
several galleries in Paris and the rest of
France.
He also participated at the ‘Carrousel du
Louvre’ 2013 event.

Sculptures
Vincent Tournebize‘s current work is dedicated
to figurative sculptures inspired by living
models in movement.
Even if some men and couples appear here
and there, his sculptures very often represent
women generously shaped and/or pregnant,
so that he sees his current production as an
anthem to femininity and fecundity.
Vincent Tournebize uses rough sandstone,
fired at very high temperature (around
1.300 °C) in a gas kiln.
“I seek harmony within the shapes, I blend
curves and distinct lines, on a perpetual quest to
find the perfect harmonious line, the line that will
give the piece structure and identity.”

Pascale Camy’s works are exhibited in a
plentitude of galleries in France, as well as
in Belgium and Switzerland.
She received several (inter)national awards
and nominations and participated at
the ‘Carrousel du Louvre’ 2013.

Bronze and Stoneware
Sculptures
Pascale Camy is a sculptress who tackles numerous materials, working in particular with
stoneware and bronze.
Her work propels her to get to the heart of
the matter by eluding the details and drawing attention to the main lines. Her sources of
inspiration are diverse and heavily rooted in
Asian, notably Japanese culture.
The subjects are varied, essentially yet not exclusively dealing with humans. She performs
block modelling and particularly enjoys working with patinas, playing with
colours and their differing shades and hues.

Tong Ming is a ceramist sculptor and painter.
He is very sensitive to natural products, particularly to clay. He draws his inspiration from
strong basic techniques and has been living in
France for twenty years.
Through the effects and results of the process of creation, he developed his own style
and ideas.
When watching his creations, people share
with the artist humor, beauty and serenity.

Her works are on permanent exhibition in
several French galleries. Her creations have
been on display in Switzerland, Greece, Germany, United States, Belgium and Monaco.
She participated in the 2010 edition of the
‘Carrousel du Louvre’ in Paris and was
awarded the silver metal.

Sculptures
The work of Marie-Noëlle Ronayette Grange
recreates an infinity of women in an imaginary
world: free, rebellious, torn... but also joyful,
loving, thoughtful or dreamy... alone or in the
silent dialogue of lovers.
She creates sculptures from terracotta or wax
before melting bronze. With the wax, she can
let her imagination free reign in giving life to
long thin and often torn forms.

The works of Sourski are exposed in
galleries in France as well as in Denmark.
Sourski is an autodidact artist, who explores
different directions in its creations.
Sourski often works with chamott and porcelain, the latter echoing childhood and innocence through its whiteness, its delicacy, and
its reputation of fragility.
The artist works instinctively, working the clay
and wax until a character appears, telling a
story that reflects the present moment.
The other source of expression is bound to
nature. It is the meeting with wooden natural elements which brings Sourski to vertical
sculptures, as a link between the ground and
the sky.
