Video Paging
The first few minutes of an emergency are critical in determining outcomes, so the ability
to see what’s happening greatly enhances situational awareness and response. Giving SARA
“eyes” with video paging enables live video, prerecorded videos, photos and other files to
be associated with a triggering event as preprogrammed through SARA’s modes and actions.
For example, SARA’s eMessenger can deliver the following as part of alerts to desktops or
mobile devices:

• A video page including live video from the nearest security camera(s), as determined with
SARA’s Positioning System
• An instructional video describing the best way to manage/respond to the triggering event
• A photo with a 120-character caption/description
• A map showing the nearest exits
Live video feeds are contingent on the appropriate network and cameras.
The first data stream received will be displayed first.
Only one data stream can be viewed at a time.
