Blueshield Welding Jackets
Blueshield Leather Cape Sleeves, Bibs and Sleeves
The Blueshield welding jackets offer state of the art comfort. Great for overhead
welding. All leather seams are double-lock stitched with high-strength 5-ply Tex 90
Dupont Kevlar thread. They feature flame retardant lined cotton collar and adjustable
neck, cuff and waist. Premium grade side split for maximum durability. Raglan-style
shoulders for comfort and mobility. Inside pocket riveted stress points. Heat and
electrical insulated snaps. Available in Blue. Meets EN 470-1.
Air Liquide’s cape sleeves, bib and sleeves score high where spatter is heavy on
shoulders, neck, arms and front of body. Snap fasteners on cape sleeves permit easy
bib attachment. The bib extends front protection when attached to cape sleeve.
The sleeves provide wrist and arm protection for light welding and bench work.

Shade numbers are given as a guide and can be varied to suit individual needs. It is recommended to start with a darker shade to view the weld zone and then reduce to a lighter shade
(without going below the minimum) to suit individual needs. In oxy-fuel gas welding or cutting, it is better to use a filter lens that absorbs the yellow or sodium line in the visible light emitted by
the operation. Please refer to page E19 for item numbers.

Blueshield Gold-Coated Lenses
Hardened glass is heat-treated for strength. Precision ground and pencil edged to eliminate stress
flaws. Meets or exceed ANSI Z87.1-2003 and CSA Z94.3-02 standards.
This specially designed lens reflects heat and infrared rays. The reduced glare allows the welder to see work more clearly. Reflects
heat and harmful infrared rays. Special hard-coated polycarbonate is abrasion and breakage resistant.
