Head & Face Protection System The Protector WH02ADF is a lightweight welding helmet providing excellent coverage and high impact protection. The harness is fitted with a nape comfort pad and allows multiple adjustments to ensure correct fit and security. The auto darkening filter is solar/battery powered, fitted with a low battery power indicator, internal cover lens, sensitivity and delay control. All this permits the wearer to personalise the product and alter settings to suit the application. The auto darkening filter is CE approved and fitted into a welding helmet complete with cover lens and harness AS/NZS 1337.1:2010 certified. Industries/Application Suitable for general electric arc welding applications and where high productivity and quality requirements exist. Industries such as light to heavy engineering, construction, manufacturing and fabrication are potential users. Welding processes include MIG, TIG, PLASMA. Please refer to table in product manual for shade guidance. Cleaning and Maintenance Welding Helmets should be inspected for deterioration or damage before each use. Chipping lens, cover lens and filter lens should be checked prior to use for cracks, distortion or sever scratching and should be replaced if damaged. Auto darkening filter should be inspected prior to use to ensure it is operating correctly. After every use a visual check is recommended and it is stored in an area or location safe from harm. Helmets with cracks, dents or excessive scratching should be discarded immediately. For best cleaning results, use soap and warm water and wipe/pat dry. The use of solvents, harsh detergents or abrasives is not recommented. Avoid exposure to Solvents, Sulphuric Acid, Methylene Chloride, Toluene, Paint Thinner and Acetone.
