end of the harnesses for easy recognition.

Higher Speed Fan Motor Upgrade
Multi-Level Bin Sensor Kit - Centre Tank
The higher speed motor upgrade allows an air seeder fan to be run at
higher fan speeds than the standard motor, which allows higher product
rates to be delivered. The standard motor is only rated at 5000 rpm, while
the higher speed motor can run at up to 8800 rpm. The flow and pressure
limitations of normal tractor hydraulic systems will limit the motor to about
6000 rpm.

It is important to note that on these hitch
tongues the socket is too tall (2-1/2” high) to
fit between the plates on trailing hitches on
older cultivators and drills. Replacement of the
hitch tabs or the entire hitch may be required
on the drill/cultivator in order to use these hitch
tongues.

Retrofit Kits (6000 Series air seeders)
Retrofit kits have been created to provide existing 6000 series airseeders the ability to be upgraded to the PDM PRO metering auger
system used on all 7000 series air-seeders. The new PDM PRO system
with the cast housing, UHMW liners and UHMW auger provide improved
accuracy and consistency along with improved metering auger life.
The retrofit kits come as a complete metering auger assembly.
Shaft speed sensor, drive sprockets, clean-out cover, mounting gasket
and slip clutch are not part of the kit and need to be transferred from
your existing PDM PLUS metering auger assembly.

Universal Hitch Tray Package
The hitch tray is approximately 24” x 35” x 8” deep and can mount onto
any 8810 or 5710 hitch frame. It is meant to store spare parts or debris
that is picked up in the field.

A 1-½” pin is required for these large tanks because of the weight
associated with their size.
The rear hitches on tillage machines and air drills manufactured prior to
2009 were manufactured with a clevis that would only accept 1” pins.
An interference problem occurs when trying to mate a new 6550 / 6700
to an older tillage or airdrill because the hitch on the 6550 and 6700
airseeders are too large and physically will not fit between the clevis tabs
on the older hitches used on the older tillage machines and air drills.
Bourgault has developed a kit that will allow a customer to modify the
existing hitch with the older, smaller clevis on a tillage machine or air drill to
the larger clevis that will connect with the larger airseeder hitch.
