This tip was submitted by Glenn G. from Ballard. To get rid
of fleas, sprinkle about a quarter cup of borax (like 20 Mule
Team) on the carpet throughout the room. The fleas will be
gone in a few days. Come back and vacuum in a few days. It’s
safe, effective and inexpensive!

Pour a quarter cup of borax in your toilet, brush around the
sides of the bowl and let sit for about half an hour.

BORAX AS A MOLD INHIBITOR
BORAX AND ROACHES
Mix a thick paste of borax and water. Smear onto the moldy
area. Let set until dry (overnight or longer). Sweep up the
powder and rinse or wipe off the rest.
