Release Notes Release 4.07 1 Chart banner Chapter 1 - Enhancements Chart banner The patient’s phone number is now included in the hover-over on the patient’s name in the Chart View. You no longer have to scroll down the screen to find the phone number. Figure 1. Chart banner hover-over 2 Release Notes Release 4.07 July 2015 Chapter 1 - Enhancements Outbound Orders interface enhancement Outbound Orders interface enhancement You can now enter multiple Quest account number(s) needed for your draw stations. This enables you to send outbound orders with the correct identifier for your practice. This enhancement has been made for the Outbound Orders interface. Practices with multiple Quest account numbers do NOT need to make any changes until they implement the Outbound Orders interface. Change from previous work flow Previously, you could only enter one account number for each lab Supplier in Clinical Preferences. If a Practice had multiple draw stations, additional dummy Lab Suppliers (such as Quest x) were associated to the practice, so that additional account numbers could be entered. Add Quest account numbers in Clinical Preferences You can add Quest account number per Location in Clinical Preferences. You only need to do this for locations that have an account number different from the default one. Steps 1. Go to Admin > Clinical > Clinical Preferences > Order/Lab Preferences tab. 2. Click the +Add Quest Location link to add another row for a specific Quest Lab Supplier. 3. Select a location from the Select Location pop-up window. A row is automatically added with the location name. 4. Enter the account number for that location. Save your changes. If you pick the wrong location by mistake, click the Delete icon to delete that location. Figure 2. Order/Lab Preferences July 2015 Release Notes Release 4.07 3 Improved Unsigned Results work flow Chapter 1 - Enhancements Improved Unsigned Results work flow The unsigned results work flow has been streamlined. This enables you to spend less time in reviewing unsigned results for your patient’s orders. • You can review results in a new Preview pane without leaving the Unsigned Results window. You can view and enter Follow-Up Notes for the practice staff from this preview pane. • If the result has an attachment, you can quickly and easily view the attachment in the Preview pane without having to open the Documents tab. This makes the information readily available to you when making clinical care decisions. • You can graph the patient’s results from the Unsigned Results window, so that you know the correct follow-up needed for the patient. You can also see results as part of the graph. Change from previous work flow Previously, the Unsigned Results window did not have any preview pane. You had to view the result details in a separate window. Also, the Unsigned Results window did not display attachments, so you had to navigate to the Documents tab and search for the correct attachment. Then you had to return to the Unsigned Results window to do the follow-up actions. This process has been streamlined. You do not have to go through multiple windows to view and sign unsigned results. Follow-up notes should be created in the Preview pane before signing or reviewing a result. Once you click the Sign/Review button, the system will automatically display the next result in the grid. Updated Unsigned Results grid and new preview pane Steps to access 1. In Chart view, click the Unsigned Results left list button to open the Unsigned Results window. 2. Select your filter criteria on top and click Search. Ordering Provider If you have logged in as a provider • If you are a Provider (based on settings in Admin > User Management), your name will display by default in the Ordering Provider with Results field, and the grid will display only your unsigned results. If you have logged in as a non-provider If you have logged in as a non-provider, you may see a large count of unsigned results (for all providers) in the left list button. You will NOT see any results in the grid when you click the button to open the Unsigned Results window. • To narrow down your search, choose an Ordering Provider, and then click Search to display the unsigned results of only that provider. • You can select multiple providers by entering names in the Ordering Provider field. These settings can be saved as default by clicking the Save Settings link. Each responsible party’s statement will be on a separate page. If there are several patients/accounts associated with a single responsible party, each patient’s information will be printed on a separate page. In addition, the Account Type has been removed from statements. For example, an account name that previously appeared as “Smith, John (Main)” will now appear as “Smith, John.” Statements will now print based on the Last Name of the responsible party. Revised Statement appearance When statements print, they are processed as PDFs. McKesson recommends that you use the setting Fit when you print them. This will ensure that they are printed properly. In addition, existing statements will retain their original format. That is, statements made prior to Release 4.07 will continue to appear as they were when you made them. Statements generated after the Release 4.07 update will have the new format. Patient statements have been redesigned. Areas of the statement that have been updated include: Organization and pagination When there are multiple responsible parties on a statement, the statement is now organized by responsible party and pagination starts over with each responsible party. For instance, there are two responsible parties, 1 and 2. The statement will print for responsible party 1 and pagination will begin with the number 1 on the first page of the statement. For responsible party 2, pagination will start over at 1 on the first page of the statement for responsible party 2.
