This folk song, originally penned by Stephen Foster in 1850, has been arranged using the
original dialect of the time. Have fun with this fast-paced piece! O
Intentional time spent on diction will enhance the performance and capture the mood of the

Debra Morton has been an accompanist and vocal coach for over thirty-five years. After
earning her degree in piano performance from Baylor University, she went on to work at
Disney World, New York City and New England before coming home to the Rio Grande
Valley where she serves as a staff accompanist for MacAllen ISD.
