Comments from the Manager
As you can see by the length of the newsletter, there is certainly still plenty
going on in the world of Tatiara Truck & Trailers.
I have been receiving plenty of positive feedback about the newsletter from
people awaiting it's publication each quarter, so I would like to thank Narelle for
her hard work & creative skills in putting it together for us & for you.
Business has been busy preparing everyone for harvest as well as still servicing our
regular cliental. There is still plenty going on in the transport industry with new
trucks still being delivered locally & second hand purchases being made.
The new workshop extensions will be going ahead at the start of the new year &
plans are currently being considered for expansion to the office area which will
more than double in size.
On the staffing front, I was very proud to be involved in the Worldskills
Presentation Night recently, watching 2 of our apprentices receive their awards.
Well done to Thomas & Henry. It is also pleasing to have a couple more people
join our team, taking our staffing level to just under 40.
The speedway season is well underway. It has been a gruelling off-season
preparing ourselves to take on the World Series rounds, which started up in
Brisbane last weekend. We were pleased with the result, considering it was the
first time we had even seen the track. Thank-you to all of our sponsors this year.

Staff News
Staff Changes
Over the past 4 months we have welcomed 3 new faces to the growing team &
said farewell to 1.
Stuart Staude has began working with us 3 days a week (approx. 3-4 hours a
day) in September. Stu will be assisting the service admin department with job
card stories, Jenkin Racing Team website maintenance and answering the
phone.
James Hooper started with us in October after a couple of trial weeks. James will
be a great asset to our team as he is a fully qualified diesel mechanic.
Judith Verco will be assisting with office/workshop cleaning, Judith started in
November.

We welcome all new employees to the Tatiara Truck and Trailers team!
It was with great sadness that we said farewell to Troy Taylor at the end of October. Troy has moved onto Murray
Bridge where he will be working in the council maintenance department. Troy has been with us for 6 years and
recently completed his Diesel Mechanic qualification with us. We wish Troy, Emma & Jensen all the very best with
their new venture.

John & Dylan Jenkin attended the Paccar/Kenworth Sub Dealer Conference.
Paul Diment & Shane Neale attended the Paccar 2011 Parts & Service Conference in Queensland at the RACV
Pines Resort in November. The conference is a great opportunity to bring up any issues, be bought up to date
with the latest parts and service information & chat with the Paccar staff and other dealerships around Australia.
Tyler Tomko & Jason O’Brien attended the Paccar Trailer Course in November at Paccar Parts Melbourne.
The management team have recently began a Diploma in Management. The course will run over eight months.
This team includes Jaime Virgin, Dylan Jenkin, Paul Diment, Shane Neale, Narelle Schneider, Shawn Lawson &
Lizzie Cuffe. The course will improve the necessary management skills required to operate a busy business
smoothly.

Jenkin Racing Team at WSS
World Series Sprintcars opening round was due
to be run 26th Novemberat Brisbane’s
Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway, but was postponed due to rain, .
The event was held on the following night—Sunday, November 27th. Dylan
started in the B-Main placing 10th. Overall Dylan currently is sitting in 24th
place. Dylan will be racing again on the 3rd December at Dubbo (round 2) &
the 10th at Mildura (round 3). For a full list of the series schedule please visit:
