Taking a stand against climate change
Replicating the UN's debate in Paris this

Following the great success of the last three
conferences, the 2016 organizing team is excited to host
the fourth edition of ILYMUN.
December, this year's ILYMUN will be centered
around climate change. This conference will
undoubtedly be the most innovative, as two new
branches will be debating alongside the eight other
established committees: the Action Assembly will
take concrete decisions regarding this year's theme,
ILYMUN is one of the 400 worldwide Model while the Youth Assembly will be allowing younger
United Nations (MUN) conferences that simulate the participants to be active
official United Nations debates. Students discuss global english/ french conference.

policies of the countries represented by the delegates.
(Students are designated as delegates for different
countries).
During this three-day conference, middle school, high
school and university students have the opportunity to
practice and develop their debating skills, and adopt a

ORGANIZERS &
PARTICIPANTS
The ILYMUN Conference is a collaborative
project, organized by the students of the Cité
Scolaire Internationale (CSI) and the International
School of Lyon (ISL).
ILYMUN 2016 will be the biggest
conference to date, with hundreds of delegates
coming from schools all over the world.
The conference brings together students
from different origins, backgrounds and cultures.
Weekly, dedicated students gather to debate in
their own MUN club, issues discussed in the UN, in
order to prepare for annual conferences similar to
ours.
The ILYMUN conference offers delegates
an international exposure to Lyon as it hosts
students and accompanying teachers from around
the globe.
