Programs are selected to complement classroom curriculum with creative and imaginative learning, critical thinking opportunities, and live performance experiences. Performance-specific study guides are also provided to help teachers integrate show topics into classroom activities. February 2014 Brahms: Alto Rhapsody, featuring mezzo-soprano Kelley O’Connor Beethoven: Symphony no 9 n n November 2013 Perhaps no work of classical music is as awe-inspiring as Beethoven’s ninth symphony with its “Ode to Joy” refrain sung by a 200-voice choir. No wonder this piece of music has been used over and again in numerous commercial applications.
