The Lion Hotel was built in 1822 in the heart of
Dulverton, which is the headquarters of the Exmoor
National Park. The Hotel offers customers a warm
and friendly welcome where you can relax and
unwind. You will find the service friendly and the
hospitality second to none.
The Lion has a lounge bar providing a relaxing
informal area to enjoy some local ales and ciders
and a separate restaurant which can be used for
functions of up to 40 guests.
Lunch and dinner can be served in the restaurant or
the bar where we can offer a variety of home made
dishes from locally sourced West Country produce.
Our menu provides both traditional and
contemporary dishes offering you a true taste of
Exmoor.
All of our 14 bedrooms have en-suite, TV, Direct Dial
Telephones and Hospitality Tray. Opt for our fourposter bed for that touch of extravagance.
