CBeebies Something Special
CHARITY PROFILE
CALVERT TRUST
EXMOOR
Calvert Trust Exmoor recently set
the scene for an episode of the BBC
CBeebies programme ‘Something
Special’.
Calvert Trust Exmoor, the outdoor activity centre for
people with all types of disabilities, recently played host to
Justin Fletcher and the rest of the crew from the BBC CBeebies
programme ‘Something Special’.
Justin and the crew spent the day with a group of children from Pathfield
School in Barnstaple, filming an episode to be broadcast in autumn 2011,
as part of series 7 of ‘Something Special’.
It was a brilliant day, the Calvert Trust Exmoor staff pulled out all the
stops to make everything run as smoothly as possible and the
Something Special team left very happy with a good day’s work done
and another episode ‘in the can’!
Activities filmed during the day included Climbing, Wheelchair Abseiling,
Carriage Driving and Kayaking, and the Something Special crew are
already talking about coming back at some point in the future for
another episode to feature some of the other fantastic activities at
Calvert Trust Exmoor!
Calvert Trust Exmoor is a fully accessible,
fully inclusive outdoor activity centre,
located in an area of outstanding natural
beauty on the edge of Exmoor National
Park, next to Wistlandpound Reservoir and
a short distance from the North Devon
Coast.
Why not come along & have a go
yourself at the same activities as Justin?
