All items will be listed by number on bid sheets. Buyers will enter their bid number and dollar bid on these sheets. Please respect the “Minimum Raise” amounts listed on the bid sheets. 2. Bid as often as you wish and on as many items as you wish. It is a good idea to return to items that interest you, constantly checking on your last bid in order to win the items you choose. 3. Bids may NOT be withdrawn once they have been entered on the sheet. A bid is your OBLIGATION to buy. 4. Items will be awarded to the highest bidders entered on the sheets at the time the silent auction tables are closed. NOTE: Auctioneer will announce the closing of the Silent auction tables based on color starting at 6:45pm. LIVE AUCTION 1. The LIVE Auction will begin after the Silent Auction. It will continue until all items have been sold. 2. Bids will be made by raising your bid paddle and being acknowledged by the Auctioneer. 3. The highest bid recognized by the Auctioneer will take the item. An item not sold at a satisfactory price may be withdrawn at the option of the Auctioneer. 4. It is the discretion of the Auctioneer and donor to make an item available to the top 2 bidders. In this situation, the item will go to both bidders at the lower of the top two bids. A bid is your OBLIGATION to buy. 5. The record of sales kept by the Auctioneer and the Recorder will be final. CONDITIONS OF SALE All items are sold “as is.” Neither McCarthy-Towne School, the Auction Committee, nor the Auctioneer provides warranties, either written or implied, as to the condition, authenticity, availability, completeness or value of the auction items. Objects are not exchangeable or returnable. Tickets to all sporting events may NOT be sold. Winning bidders on vacation homes may be required to place a refundable security deposit with the owner. Please check with owners regarding smoking, pets and other details. By bidding, you acknowledge your acceptance of the terms outlined above. We reserve the right to withdraw any item for any reason prior to the auction. PAYMENT AND PICK UP At the conclusion of the auction, please proceed to the cashier to pay for items won during the Silent and/or Live Auctions. Certificates for goods and services should be picked up at the cashier’s desk at the time of payment. All property must be paid for with cash, check or credit card and removed the night of the auction. Please note there is an additional 3% charge for credit card purchases. Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of this program. We apologize for any errors that may have occurred. Please remember that we are all volunteers and doing our best. You'll be amazed by the variety of lines and patterns--this swirl of striking foliage will bring visual interest to any room of your home. The special paper allows the colors to bleed into one another. The students experimented with colors and how they blend, then carefully selected their favorite area in the large sheet of paper and cut out their unique planet. The results are out of this world!
