15-237 | UNKNOWN | FRAUD
Mountain View police are asking for the public’s help to find three people suspected of fraud after they tried to make a purchase worth thousands of dollars
last month using a fraudulently obtained credit card. According to police, two men
and a woman walked into a business on the 1000 block of North Rengstorff Avenue, where a Costco store is located, and opened a credit card account, using
someone else’s personal information.
After obtaining the credit card, police said the three then attempted to purchase
over $5,000 worth of merchandise with the newly established account. Police
said they also have reason to believe the same trio was likely responsible for
using the same victim’s information to open up phony credit card accounts at
businesses in San Mateo and San Carlos. Police described the female suspect
as Hispanic, approximately 5’ 7” in. tall, weighing 160 lbs. and possibly pregnant.
The woman also has an unidentifiable tattoo on her right upper forearm and a
partial tattoo with the name “Jose” on the
back of her neck, police said.

15-279 | UNKNOWN | ROBBERY
On June 3, 2015 at approximately 5:50 pm, Deputies from the San Mateo County
Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2000 block of Ticonderoga Drive in San Mateo
Highlands, on a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.
Upon arrival, the victim reported that when she parked in her driveway and got
out of her vehicle, the suspect ran up to her and pointed a black colored semi-automatic hand gun.
The suspect then demanded her money and jewelry. The victim complied and
gave him her bags and the jewelry that she
was wearing.
The suspect then fled on foot southbound on
Ticonderoga Drive. The victim was not injured.

According to police, the three were seen
driving away in a black Ford Expedition.
The San Jose Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify these
two men. According to Detective Emilio Perez, on 06-28-15, at approx. 3:41am,
an Assault with a Deadly Weapon (knife used) occurred in the area of the
Alameda and McKendrie streets in San Jose, California.
A taxi driver was originally flagged down by 3 intoxicated subjects in an unknown
area of downtown.
Suspect #1 sat in the backseat of the taxi cab along with another unidentified
subject. Suspect #2 sat in the front right passenger seat of the taxi cab next to
the victim.
The victim noticed that suspect #2 appeared to reach down into the general area
where the victim kept his money inside of his cab. The victim slapped suspect
#2’s hand thinking that he was attempting to
steal his money. Suspect #2 immediately hit the
victim in the face with an open hand.
The victim pulled over in the area of the
Alameda and McKendrie streets.The victim
exited his taxi cab.
15-330 | UNKNOWN | BANK ROBBERY
Deputies are looking for a man who robbed a bank in Felton a Santa Cruz County sheriff’s spokesman said. Deputies were called to a reported armed robbery
in progress at Liberty Bank, located at 6230 state Highway 9 sheriff’s Lt. Kelly
Kent said. The suspect, armed with a black semi-automatic handgun, entered
the bank and forced two customers and four employees into a vault, Kent said.
He took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot behind the bank toward
Felton Covered Bridge Park, according to Kent. No injuries were reported. The
suspect is described as a white man in his mid to late 20s, standing about 6 feet
3 inches tall with a thin
build, bad teeth and
a ponytail, Kent said.
He wore a white longsleeved button-down
shirt, dark pants, white
baseball hat and whiterimmed sunglasses at
the time of the robbery,
Kent said.

The U.S. Marshals Pacific N.W. Fugitive Apprehension Task Force is currently
seeking Francisco “Paco” Mendez-Zendejas on $250,000 warrant charging him
with 2nd degree assault.
According to investigators, on the night of July 14th a King County sheriff’s
deputy was on patrol and saw about 10 people fighting in the street. Using his
loud speaker he ordered the group to break up and leave the scene.
As the men started walking off in different
directions, the deputy saw Mendez-Zendejas
allegedly pull out a gun and shoot at a car that
the other group was getting into. MendezZendejas then fled the scene.

ASSAULT ON A POLICE OFFICER
San Francisco police released photos today of a male suspect who assaulted an
officer as he fled during a police investigation near the South of Market Caltrain
station last month. According to police, this suspect fled from officers as they
conducted an investigation at the corner of Fourth and King streets.
As the suspect fled, he knocked a police officer off of a raised San Francisco
Municipal Transportation Agency light-rail train platform, causing him to fall onto
the ground below.
The officer was injured in the fall but continued
to pursue the suspect on foot, according to
police.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Police in Longmont, Colorado are searching for a fugitive who is wanted for
crimes all along the front range, including trying to strangle his girlfriend.
Daniel “Danny” Moreno has a violent criminal history with ties in Longmont,
Thornton, Greeley, Broomfield and Denver. Police said he assaulted, strangled
and smothered his girlfriend. She survived but was badly injured.
Moreno, 26, is wanted on a no-bond felony warrant for domestic violence, first-degree assault, felony menacing, obstruction of phone service, false imprisonment
and theft.
While the suspect managed to evade police,
officers located Muni surveillance footage that
clearly shows the suspects’ face and body
while he was aboard a light-rail vehicle.
Police are asking for the public’s help in
identifying the suspect captured by surveillance
cameras.
Hercules police report this suspect allegedly robbed a gas station market with
a semi-automatic handgun. The robbery took place at the My Goods Market/76
brand gas station in the 800 block of Willow Avenue near Interstate Highway 80
and state Highway 4, police said.
Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery of a convenience store in Brentwood. Brentwood police said the suspect,
described as a Hispanic male in his late 20s, robbed a local convenience store
using a small-caliber handgun.
The suspect pointed the gun at a cashier and said, “Get the money out of the
register,” then took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled onto Willow Avenue
toward the unincorporated community of Rodeo, police said.
Police said the suspect has a shaved
head, is about 5-foot 8, 180 to 200 pounds
and has multiple tattoos, one of which appears to be of an “EW” on his chest. There
were no reported injuries in the robbery.
The suspect is considered armed and
dangerous. Police said four other suspects involved in the robbery have been
taken into custody.

SEXUAL ASSAULT
A sexual assault suspect is wanted by authorities after he removed his ankle
monitor while awaiting trial.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Marcus Albert Ruby. Ruby, 25,
was out on bond awaiting trial for the charges of sexual assault, aggravated
assault, false imprisonment and criminal mischief.
Ruby tampered with the strap of the electronic
ankle monitor that he was wearing as a
condition of his bond. Ruby removed the
monitor which was found in Denver, Colorado.

ESCAPE & HOME INVASION
An escapee Kaeden Timothy James Dumholt is being sought by Sawyer County,
Wisconsin sheriff’s deputies after he reportedly confronted a home owner near
Round Lake at gunpoint and evaded law officers after fleeing at high speed
through the City of Hayward, Wisconsin.
Dumholt escaped from the Jackson Correctional Center near Black River Falls
sometime between 9 and 10:45 p.m. Saturday Aug. 2. Sheriff Mark Kelsey said
the escapee is “armed and dangerous.”
On Aug. 6 two male subjects entered a residence and confronted the home
owner at gunpoint. Both suspects then left the residence; the home owner was
not injured.
A few minutes later, a high speed pursuit of
the vehicle began on Highway 77, proceeding
through Hayward. Dumholt is a suspect in the
armed home invasion in Sawyer County.
Another home on Twin Lake Road was
reported to have been broken into and robbed.

This man is confronted allegedly breaking to a home in west El Paso. The man
threatened the witness and fled the scene. Detectives from the El Paso Police
Department are asking for your help in identifying this burglar.

door. The suspect managed to unlock the door and entered the home. Just
moments later, a neighbor, who had heard the large crash of the glass being
broken, walked towards the house.
As the neighbor was getting

Police have now identified a suspect in connection with an August 2nd shooting
but are warning the public that he is still at large and should be considered armed
and dangerous. 55 year-old Carlos Aviles is currently wanted for Murder with a
Deadly Weapon and Attempted Murder with a Deadly Weapon.
The Gilroy Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the
suspect in this photo.
On August 2, 2015 at approximately 10:20 p.m., Las Vegas Metro Police Department patrol officers responded to an alley located in the 4600 block of West
Twain Avenue after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found one
suspect dead and transported another to the hospital. According to police, both
were walking in an alley when Aviles began shooting at the two.
Investigators released a photo today of the truck they
believe Aviles used to flee the scene. It is described as
a light blue Ford or Chevrolet pickup truck. The identity
of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death,
will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
In addition to a 2004 booking photo of Aviles police have
also released a more recent photo of him as they look
for the public’s help in spotting him.
According to investigators, on 08/05/15 at 8:15AM a white Honda Accord was
stolen from the Days Inn at 8292 Murray Ave.
These photos show a silver Chevy Tahoe drive into the rear parking lot and
drop off a passenger. The passenger walked over to the victim vehicle, allegedly
opened the door and both vehicles drove out of the parking lot.

The police are looking for a male burglary suspect who has successfully stolen
money, jewelry and electronics from five apartments in midtown Manhattan—and
nearly went into a sixth. Here’s creepy surveillance footage of him peering inside
an apartment.
According to the New York Police Department, the incidents started in February
and are still ongoing.

An Albuquerque man accused of fatally stabbing a neighbor 28 times over a dispute about a barking dog has been indicted. Prosecutors say 33-year-old Ricardo Villanueva-Cordova is facing charges of first-degree murder and kidnapping.
A Bernalillo County grand jury issued a warrant for his arrest.
Customers of an Albuquerque gasoline station called 911 on June 18, 2013 to
report seeing a man being repeatedly stabbed. The suspect fled the scene in a
pickup truck and 27-year-old Michael S. Sanchez later died at a hospital.
Witnesses relayed the vehicle’s license plate to police, who tracked down Villanueva-Cordova at his home.
Police say Sanchez had a long-standing dispute over the Villanueva-Cordova family’s dog, which was found badly
injured earlier on June 18.
An armed man who robbed a Subway restaurant in Santa Cruz may be connected to similar crimes in the area, police said. Officers responded to a report of a
robbery at a Subway at 1723 Soquel Avenue. The suspect had a handgun and
entered the restaurant, confronted an employee and demanded cash, according
to police.
The employee handed the money over at gunpoint and the suspect fled from the
restaurant, police said. No injuries were reported in the robbery.
The suspect is described as a black man between 50 and 60 years old, standing about 6 feet
to 6 feet 2 inches tall with a thin build, according

police said. The suspect description matches
ones from similar robberies recently reported in
Santa Cruz and Monterey counties, according to

15-235 | DIONISIO GONZALEZ | SHOOTING
Dionisio Gonzalez is wanted for his alleged involvement in the shooting of two
young girls near Avondale Park in Chicago, Illinois. On June 8, 2011, the girls,
ages 2 and 7, were playing in a neighborhood park around 8 p.m. when they
were shot by errant .45 caliber rounds during an ongoing Chicago street gang
dispute. The two-year-old suffered a graze wound to the back of her head, while
the seven-year-old was shot in the back.
The Chicago Police Department subsequently identified the shooter, who was
arrested. The alleged driver of the getaway vehicle was identified as Dionisio
Gonzalez. On June 14, 2011, the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, obtained
a warrant for Gonzalez’s arrest for aggravated battery with a handgun. On June
24, 2011, a federal arrest warrant was issued by the United States District Court,
Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division, Chicago, Illinois, after Gonzalez
was charged federally with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office received two separate reports of sexual
batteries by female victims. The incidents occurred within the area of the Mirada
West Walking Trail, near Magellan Avenue and Mirada Road in the unincorporated area of Miramar within San Mateo County.
The first incident occurred as the female victim was walking west from the coastal trail on Magellan Avenue towards Mirada Road. While walking, the victim was
approached from behind by the suspect and groped on the buttocks.
She described the male suspect as 20-30 with an olive skin tone and 5 feet. 7
inches in height with a medium body build. The suspect also had black hair, dark
eyes and was wearing a blue beanie and a dark mid-thigh length jacket.
The second incident occurred as this female was walking north on the coastal
trail just north of Magellan Avenue. While walking, the victim was approached
from behind and also groped on the buttocks.
She described the male suspect as 18-28 with an olive
skin tone and 5 feet. 8 inches in height with a stocky
body build. The suspect was wearing a gray hoodie
sweatshirt and blue jeans. In both incidents the suspect walked away and the victims did not sustain any
injuries.

victim in Isla Vista.

Palo Alto police say three suspects forced their way into a Palo Alto home a
family recently moved into. The residents, a couple in their 40s and their adult
daughter and two other children, ages 8 and 11, had moved into the home within
the past week. The adult daughter answered a knock on the door and opened it
to find one of the suspects with a pizza delivery bag, according to police.
The suspect claimed he was bringing an order to the
family, but the daughter denied him. As the daughter
closed the door, the suspect pushed his way inside with
two other men wearing masks armed with a gun. One
of the masked men had a semi-automatic pistol and
the other had a knife, police said. The suspects were
stopped at the home’s entrance, where the mother confronted them, according to police. One of the men covered the mother’s mouth with his hand to stop her from
screaming.
Mills is described as an African
American male, 6-2, 180lbs
with black hair and brown eyes.
Mills is originally from Ohio and
may have fled the state to avoid
arrest. Attached photos of Mills

The father ran to the entryway and the suspects ran away from the home, police
said. The mother suffered a small scratch near her mouth that did not require
medical attention, police said. The suspects were inside the home for less than a
minute and did not take anything from the residence, according to police.

A Hays County fugitive convicted of
nearly two dozen counts of child molestation has failed to appear in court
and is currently at large.

Saraswati had
crossed over
the border into
Mexico
and
fled to India, where it would likely be
more difficult to get a high-profile criminal extradited to the United States.

100,000 people so far, a death toll
larger than the civil war in Syria.
Homicide rates in Mexico have tripled
since 2007.
Many Mexicans say that they have
no choice but to take matters into
their own hands. Because of the
staggering levels of violence and
crime many villages and towns have
formed civilian militias.
Across the country, groups of men
and women have picked up rifles and
machetes, and begun patrolling their
neighborhoods and farmland. These
groups call themselves “fuerzas
autodefensas” (self-defense forces).

burglary in Gilroy. The witness confronted the suspect as he left, took photographs of him, and watched him flee the victims residence with several stolen

An Alabama police officer was pistolwhipped with his own gun on Friday
— and then mocked by critics of
