Born and raised in Devon, Nancy first studied dance and musical
theatre at the Willow Tree School of Performing Arts. At 13 yrs of
age she was a awarded scholarship to study at The Nesta Brooking
School of Ballet, London, followed by a second scholarship to study
Drama, Dance and Singing at The Arts Educational Stage School,
London.
At 19 working as a dancer on a Cruise Ship in the Caribbean, Nancy
fell in love with the ship’s doctor, they both then emigrated to New
Zealand. Spanning a career of over 20 years Nancy Schroder’s
acting work includes leading roles with:

experience in NZ, Australia and the
UK.
Highlights of her career have
included: Pianist - Phantom of the
Opera orchestra, West End LONDON
Musical Director - National Theatre
UK Tour - The Pied Piper
Working with many West End and
Broadway musical theatre stars. In
NZ, Penny has conducted Evita,
Chicago, Cats and 42nd St.
Penny is also the Musical Director of
Christmas in the Park, held annually
at the Auckland Domain.
A performer alongside Helen Medlyn
in their cabaret show Hell On Wheels

design for many years, and his

recognized in both the music and
theatre industries throughout NZ
and Aus-tralia.
