VITAVOX FIRST CONTACT COMMUNICATIONS Military PA Systems Outacom™ A fully qualified vehicle mounted tactical Public Address (PA) system for use on all tracked and wheeled armoured fighting vehicles. The primary and overwhelming tactical advantage is that this will reduce the requirement to dismount soldiers and therefore lower the risk inherent in unprotected exposure to danger. As a capability improvement it can both reduce the risk of unnecessary collateral damage and the probability of any escalation of violence. The PA system will also allow safer and more precise control of public order. As either a stand-alone or intercom integrated system, it can provide direct communication up to 300 metres in the urban environment and to 600 metres over open ground. Outacom Vitavic 600 A tactical vehicle Public Address (PA) system designed specifically for messaging and alarms with all the benefits and features of the Outacom TM. Programmable recurring voice messages in any language allows for communication with local civilians and dismounted soldiers and crew to maintain public order. With a range of 300-600 metres, the Outacom Vitavic 600 can be used as stand-alone or with intercom integrated operation. • Can be turret, weapon or hull mounted • Blast proof, shockproof and weatherproof (IP67) • MIL-STD 461E, MIL-STD 861F and DEF-STAN compliant • External output isolation switch facility • Intercom or data device input • High intelligibility and range (300m urban 600m open) • MIL-STD 461E and MIL-STD 861F compliant Intercom Systems Vitavic 400 • Solutions for vehicles with up to 21 crew members and 6 combat net radios • Supports the heads up operation via the Vitavic 409 Personal Extension Unit • Special alarms and warning input catered for. • Dismounted personnel may be remotely connected via a short range soldier radio or field telephone interface Radio Monitor 1 • Visual indication of individual radio traffic. This can be disabled if required. • Compatible with any in-service com bat net radio (CNR) and headset • Mil-Std810F, Mil-Std461E Vitavic 407 • Can be driven by intercom system or GVA • Maximum 4W output controlled in 10 steps • Built to MIL-STD 461E, MIL-STD 810F Vitavic 400 is a true Software Defined (SD) fully digital intercom. The system has been designed to work with and integrate in the field seamlessly with all current and potential future headsets and radios in any configuration. The SD system is a Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Field Programming Gate Array (FPGA) design with the end user in mind, allowing control and manipulation of functionality at user level, in real time, as and when needed. The system comprises a Central Communication Unit (CCU), Basic Communication Unit (BCU), Cable Set and Personal Headset. The system is suitable for both heeled and lighter tracked armoured and patrol vehicles. 3-Way radio monitor for vehicles and installations that do not require either a harness or an intercom. This system allows the user to monitor three separate radio stations and broadcast on the selected radio – or all three in an emergency. Rugged interface for connection with any type of radio, microphone or headset, complete with built-in speaker with volume control. Easy operation and installation. With a rugged design for integration with existing intercom and on-board warning systems (BMS, NBC, Shot Detection), the Vitavic 407 provides clear, intelligible, controlled and reliable reproduction of all on-board signals and warnings. Currently in operation on the UK MoD’s Foxhound Programme. Loudspeakers Main broadcast and Intercom Loudspeakers Vitavox Main Broadcast and intercom Loudspeakers are current stock items for Royal Navies of UK, Australia and New Zealand. Two versions are available with similar form, fit and function; 2183 Main Broadcast Loudspeaker and the 2184 Loudspeaker with integral amplifier. Main loudspeaker used on Type 23 and new compact version for Type 26 Global Combat Ship. Compact Broadcast Loudspeaker The Vitavox Compact Broadcast Loudspeaker has been designed and developed as an External Output Module (EOM), for the UKMOD Scout Specialist Vehicle Public Address System. Available as a replacement to the Vitavox 2183 Main Broadcast Loudspeaker and the Vitavox 2184 Intercom Loudspeaker, the EOM is available as a more compact ‘plug and play’ alternative. • 10, 20 and 30 Watt variants and Main Broadcast 31.6V, 70V and 100V • Ingress Protection rating IP67 • Type shock tested to 70G force by UK MoD • Used above and below deck in high noise areas • Survives close proximity explosions and destructive blows • Full EMC and environmental specification qualification to Def-Stan and MIL-STD • Shock tested to 200G • Ingress protection rating IP67 Headsets MILITARY MILITARY COMMUNICATIONS MILITARY COMMUNICATIONS COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS; SYSTEMS DESIG SYST Bone Conducting Combat Headset • Much preferred by soldiers as there is no electronics in the ear canal. It is our belief that ‘Shout before you Shoot’ should be required doctrine and mounted as standard on all types of military vehicles in order to reduce risk, escalation of violence and collateral damage to both operational and civilian personnel. We are contracted to supply our system for the new Scout SV Program. Complete through life support from manufacture to disposal ensures that Vitavox are the primary choice for the first contact communications systems deployed in today’s modern battlefield.
