FAQs: Why am I being asked to volunteer? I thought being in the Premier level that I wouldn’t have to volunteer. Sting has over 700 kids registered with about 40 teams! As you can imagine, it requires quite a bit of work and effort to make our club successful. The entire organization is made up of volunteers who offer their time, expertise and passion for the game to see our children thrive in the game. Volunteer opportunities are plenty and can be found on the website at www.swstingsoccer.com Where are most of the games and practices held? Most games for the Indoor season will be at the 3 Indoor Soccer centers in Edmonton. Team practices are typically held in school gyms in southwest Edmonton. Sting also secures Indoor venues around the city to offer as much practice, play, and technical training opportunities as possible.
