Antek’s DAQreporter web-portal has become a favorite of
physicians, providing a single HIPAA compliant location on

Because LabDAQ can be easily configured to meet any
laboratory setting, it has been the choice of many different
types of laboratories. This “Client-Specific Configuration”

Antek provides a rules engine for “intelligent processing”.
Rules are created to eliminate errors and assist in decision
making throughout the entire testing process. Rules can be
created when ordering, test reflexing, result delivery, billing,
and more. Users simply establish the criteria and define the
actions required for the specified criteria. Other laboratory
information systems require that rules be used to perform
even the most basic tasks. With LabDAQ, the rules are used
on only if they are required.
DAQvantage redefines administration of the laboratory
and allows better management of specific tasks and resources.
Laboratory personnel have rapid access to lab-mail, schedules,
and task lists. The scheduler gives the lab manager a tool
to create and view calendars for staffing purposes, analyzer
maintenance and calibration, or QC tasks such as control lot
validation or proficiency testing. Lab-mail will assist with
staff notifications and documenting the many tasks assigned
in a busy laboratory. DAQvantage will assist with the

information by individual panel, protecting sensitive STD,
drug, or oncology data.
Known for its reliability and scalability, the Oracle database
provides optimum data storage, security, performance and
eliminates the need for data archiving. The Oracle database
has many built-in mechanisms for protecting data integrity
and performing data recovery. In a disaster recovery situation,
it is possible to recover right up to the moment of failure with
no loss of data.
Quality Assurance
To support the lab’s quality assurance programs, multiple
lots of QC materials may be tested and supported for any
analyzer. Specific “Control Study Graphs” can be generated
showing multilevel controls on a single graph. These graphs
are supplemented by on-line corrective action logs. Linearity
and correlation studies are also supported.

Maximize Revenue
LabDAQ includes tools to ensure that accurate billing information is generated in the
lab. This information results in timely and accurate reimbursements.
Charge Capture
LabDAQ includes multiple tools to ensure that all lab charges
are captured. Lab managers can use the ICD9/CPT coding
tool that will flag procedure/code pairs which are not in
compliance with lab policy. Managers can also designate
panels that require an advance beneficiary notice (ABN),
which can be printed directly from the system.
Managers can review reports that detail the daily workload
with associated codes and charges. Charge data can also be
transmitted electronically, directly to the billing system. This
connectivity ensures that there are no missed billings from the
laboratory.
Cost Accounting/Workload Recording
LabDAQ includes cost accounting and usage summary reports
that will provide managers with insight into their physicians’
ordering patterns. LabDAQ permits users to designate the
payers for each assay ordered, so that individual totals for
Medicare or other carriers can be examined.
LabDAQ also produces graphic assay utilization reports.
Managers can use these detailed reports to study testing trends
and for effective staff scheduling. Like all LabDAQ reports,
these are ad hoc reports so that managers can select the specific
criteria they want to analyze.
