4. “Puttin’ It All Together”-Step-By-Step
*Target: former students
*Roastability Issue (so many to choose from): transcript ordering
*Fitting the song with the ‘roast’
– Could be the only song you know; or
– Could fit the idea,
idea ee.g.
g “Takin’
Takin Care of Business”;
Business ; “Now
Now or Never”
Never
– Is easy to adapt; “You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away”
*Rhyming Words
– Not always the concept. (“computer” is tough to rhyme with)
– ‘late’? Yes. ‘complain? Yes. ‘Faculty’? Yes. ‘Satisfactory Progress’?
Hmmm.
*Groupings/Sets of Ideas: Late/Irate; Delight/tonight; Tirade/Grade;
Off/Cough; Have a Fit/Late Submit/My Teeth Grit/shouldn’t you
quit?Do it today/have my way/parent’s pay/what the president will say
(See the examples on the walls) Resulting in -----

Observations: Teamwork & Process
If you were observing the group dynamics, how would you
describe the critical issues related to how the group
--assessed the task; “what are we doing?”
--created a structure/process
--developed direct or indirect role assignments/assumptions
discovered and utilized unique talents/skills of group
--discovered
members
--utilized individual strengths for the group benefit
(leadership, creativity, structure, “on task”)
--was influenced by positive factors e.g. “fun”, “catharsis”,
etc
--dealt with time management/pressure issues
--evaluated the product: ongoing? at the end? at all?
--considered revision, improvement, enhancement
--And what would you have done differently??
So In Summary, Are There Any
Lessons Learned Here?
