introducing Executive Chef, Pete Ghione!
Chef Pete’s cooking career started in his hometown of Shelton,
CT, where he discovered his artistic connection with food.
After his education at the New England Culinary Institute in
Burlington, VT, he completed internships on both the East
and West Coasts before moving to one of the four “Culinary
Meccas” of the country, Las Vegas.
He began his Las Vegas career at
Charlie Palmer’s Aureole Restaurant at
Mandalay Bay, and then moved to the
Rio Hotel and Casino for eight years,
and at age 26, was named Executive
Chef. In 2004, Pete was a team chef for
the Las Vegas Silver Medal Olympic
team in Erfurt, Germany.

Four years later, Pete took his skills to Dragon Ridge
Country Club outside of Las Vegas. There, he fulfilled his
vision of using largely organic ingredients, bringing nature’s
intended pure, clean flavor and quality to his creations. Pete
also opened his own restaurant in Las Vegas called “Go Fresh
Kitchen,” which made eating healthy convenient by delivering
to people’s homes and places of work.
Pete hopes our guests leave with a memorable experience
and that they can recreate the memory of each bite of food
so the flavors and presentation stays with them.
